True, he talks too much trash when he’s still so new to the game 😂 I guess that’s what makes it entertaining. Anyway, the position is actually slightly more complex after that, because he still has to sacrifice Staryu for chip damage on moltres in order to be able to use Giovanni to finally one shot it. To be fair, seeing that series of moves ahead of time while (probably) panicking as a relatively new player isn’t too easy, so I guess we could give him the benefit of the doubt.

@ after that, the opponent will kill farfetch, u bring in staryu. If u draw starmie u win, if u dont then put energy on articuno and let the opponent kill staryu then u can finish him off next turn. It’s pretty much a guaranteed win if he made that farfetch giovanni play. Either way i think your username best describe him 🤣

Using The Sabrina was the only option to win the game. At 15:15 he has an advantage and still wins if he finds X speed retreat Articuno into a Farfetch’d boosted by Giovanni, one shotting the moltres and only forfeiting one point. From there, he can sacrifice Staryu and use its chip damage so that Moltres can be one shotted by Articuno with Giovanni. If the opponent does swap Charmander in, then he still has an extra Giovanni he can use with Articuno to one shot. It’s basically still a guaranteed win after the Sabrina with optimal play, and I thought the use of Sabrina wasn’t exactly illogical. You do know that he puts his Articuno in more danger by not using Sabrina right? If he knocks out the moltres with Articuno, his opponent will be able to hit Articuno first instead of vice versa. Since all the energy is invested into that specific moltres, if it is knocked out the game is pretty much instantly won, which is why targeting the higher value moltres over winning the 2 free points should be prioritized. You might gain the 2 free points, but I honestly think you still lose if you decide to knockout the moltres there. You can’t win after knocking out the initial moltres, since moltres will deal 70 right after, to which your best response is sacrificing Articuno and dealing 80, and since the opponent used a potion you can’t knockout moltres (70 HP now) in time before losing. Additionally, since Articuno has been knocked out you cannot one shot charmander if they do place it , so your Sabrina has become useless. Essentially, if you use Sabrina, you can win the game by finding a complex series of best moves, however, if you don’t Sabrina, you lose the game.

Turn 6: 140hp Articuno kills Moltres1 and Moltres2 has 120hp. 2 points for xqc. Turn 7: Opponent uses potion and Moltres2 has 140hp. Uses Giovanni, does 80 to Articuno. Turn 8: 60hp Articuno does 90 with Giovanni, Moltres2 has 50 hp. Now turn 9, opponent puts the Charmander down. He either kills Articuno with Moltres, gets 2 points but loses next to Farfetch with Giovanni OR he retreats for Charmander, does 30 to Articuno but also loses next round. Why complicate something that easy? Yes, I can also see the Farfetch play with X Speed and Giovanni, but while playing it live, I would never give away 2 points like that when the board looks like that. And knowing it's a Charizard deck with no Charizard on the board, a Charmander is not going to change anything this late in the game.

He has to attack with moltres, after taking 70 dmg he should have retreated articuno. He has x2 Giovanni so he can do (40+10) + (20+10) = 80 dmg to the second moltres by sacrificing staryu and farfetch. After that he brings articuno and kills him. Pokemon is a simple math game really i dont understand how people make this type of misplays. Also, if anyone thinks he will not have enough energies, you are also wrong and shows your lack of capabilities doing simple addiction. He has x-speed, so by retreating his aritcuno is going to have 2 energies. You get 1 energy during your turn so by the time his aritcuno is forced in the active spot, he will place the energy back on it.

@@thefunnydoge Missing out on trying 90% of the cards in the game and losing out on one of the best parts of the game imo - trying interesting cards and interactions such as weezing and koga or an ultra healing venusaur deck
