Something things of note that seemed to be missed, though understandable as you need to dig for them on the site or watch tours of their boats. After the boat is made, the team goes and does a full run down for a month, which includes marking all the nuts and bolts (so you can see how far you need to tighten/if they're getting lose, where to put them if you have to remove them, etc). Also, when you buy, a captain will stay with you for two weeks to train you on ever facet on the boat, which is great for beginners and experienced hands so nothing gets missed. I also heard they're setting up a base of operations in the carribian, basically a mini-resort/garage. So you can take your boat down for tune up/repairs and enjoy the area in some style while the work gets done, but I don't know if they came to be yet or not. This is just stuff I've seen from other sources.

Stumbled on this by accident and was positively impressed ....also by the wine choice which is excellent.

You and I are in similar boats. Mine is a 10yr plan. I agree the Xquisite is the yacht of choice. I'm planning on a 2028 Solar Sail 60 that is sold though Exquisite's certified program in 2033. Hopefully that will eliminate the sticker shock but still deliver the yacht of my dreams.

the other one for me is the Kinetic 54. Just beautiful! D

@@navalgazingatcampdavid If I were looking for a more performance based Catamaran I think the HH OC50 is nicer than the Kinetic. After learning about how Chris White's cat made of E-glass survived for months capsized in the Atlantic I was sold on E-glass construction vs fiberglass.
@timtravelnomad2 ай бұрын
@@blavezzoli my understanding is e-glass is common fibreglass. In contrast, S-glass has higher strength and is more expensive.. and sounds like not many boats are investing in s-glass.

By forward cockpit you mean wheel and controls? The Privilege 580 signature does not seem to have this. The Atlantic 57 (Chris White) has a "forward cockpit" cat; if I understand this correctly. We love your list. The Xquisite is the best on your list, if you got the dough.

Hey Colloidasilve. When I’m talking forward cockpit I’m usually referring to a forward lounge cockpit, as opposed to a forward helm cockpit like the Hh52, Windelo, etc. I agree with you RE the 60SS. Just a beautiful yacht. I wish he would fast track a 46 & 51. Thanks for watching. D

@@navalgazingatcampdavid In nasty weather, dark of night, and what not. I want to be able to shut the Salon up tight turn on the AC and navigate from in there. Your best suggestions please.

@@colloidalsilver1096 I was REALLY impressed with the visibility and sense of control at the internal forward facing nav station of the Balance 482 that I test sailed in Annapolis. You can see the visibility in my interview with Cat and Kirk. The 526 was just as good. I would highly recommend these yachts.
