XR 150L- Spring Trail Ride

First ride of 2024 for this beast. Just put on some new Protaper "CR high" bars so I had to test them out and they're much better for me. The original bars felt like a beach cruiser bicycle and they were too narrow. I have more plans for the future of this bike as well so stay tuned for that. Going to take it to some OHV parks and such. Thanks for watching!

Hi, nice vid. Same bike. Do you get alot of punctures on the back tyre? Reason for asking, I've had 3 punctures the last month and only ride to work and home on tar road. Thanks

Thankfully I have not had a flat yet but I assume the tubes are thin and easy to puncture. I've spent 90% of my time offroad with this bike with tires @ 15-18 psi (not sure if that ideal but that's what I've done so far)

I went one tooth down on the front sprocket so it would "crawl" a lil better

Ok, I'm feeling better now about getting out on my XR150L on the mountain now. Just got a great skid plate & hand guards & better footpegs. I live near Yosemite, so lots of rock here. I just road it in the Mojave desert, I'm a terrible sand rider but it was easier than my DRZ400. Such a fun nimble bike, I really love it! We have super twisty pavement here, pretty fun in tight cornering too!

Nice ride! Loving mine too and very happy with the off road performance in the very technical stuff near me. Did you change the bars yourself?

Thank you! I did change the bars myself. You will have to drill a hole for the locator pins on each side of the switches. You'll see if/when you take them off what I mean. It's just to stop them from rotating when pushing buttons. Other than that all the cables still reach just fine.

i want one of these . my oldest daughter is just a little to short or i was of grabbed one all ready . hope soon i would have a blast on one . enjoy it guys and keep chasing i just got 8" of snow today hahah
