I know I said these XRC armor fenders were heavy but they have really grown on me and you can't deny the amount of wheel well clearance you gain from these. I just wanted to document these Smittybilt xrc armor fenders so I can study the fit and finish. Like and Subscribe!

I got these now. Since I replaced my hood with a heat reduction hood, the fit was a little off. I had to put some rubber weather proofing around the base of the hood, but it looks pretty clean now! Haven't installed the sides and rear pieces yet, but that's cause I can't figure out the nutserts for the life of me. I'm gonna throw some money down to get the nutserts installed/welded for me at a local shop. Then I'm golden!

Hey bro that looks just like my JK ! I also have a winch on that same bumper with the same stinger. I have the XRC fenders you see here all around on my black Rubi. So far I had these fenders for 6k miles and they are holding up well here in the desert. If you ever see any rust, just sand the area to get that off... clean it and re paint over it with similar finish paint. Thanks for the post.

I just installed some. The look is awesome but as far as installation. not enough hardware, the spacing on my front between the door and fender is about a half an inch. but besides that great fenders

Don't do it, these things scare me. Fit/Finish is shoddy at best. I realize they are A/M parts but if you are going to pay a premium they should fit evenly and line up with the body contours. The other concern is more related to installation and ensuring all holes drilled are correctly repaired to prevent corrosion. This is more of a concern if you live in the Midwest or eastern portion of the country. All that said, the front fenders look awesome, the rear is ok, but not as dramatic as the front.

I really liked the fenders when when I first looked at them. now I kinda don't... make sure that you like them and there is nothing out on the market that you rather have.. The other thing is do you plan on doing a snorkel on your jeep? I don't know if the XRC fenders will work with it the fender lip is high. They have snorkels that go on your side cowl. But i like the look of the aev snorkels that are on the side.

Ya I'm on the fence, it's the fit that is steering me away and that is why I did the video. It's fine and all for manufactures to sell their goods but who's really going to show you what you are getting. Me, that's who!

Looks like the rugged ridge snorkel will work with the XRC's. I like the look of the RR snorkel because of the internal hidden design. You can choose to do a low mount snorkel too which gives you a higher air intake placement than stock if you don't like the full on snorkel look as a daily driver. Thank God for choices brother. +JeepArmy USA yep that's the snorkel I was thinking about. Looks like you can still get a 50 inch light bar mount on it too. The only other thing I see if you have to give up is your A pillar light mounts. But depending on what bumper you get you can still get some on there or on your hood besides when you get a 50. Oh one other thing I have the XRC stinger and after 3 years it had sun fading I sanded it light and rustoleum looks brand new. (I don't know if the fading is normal)

I have had my jk smitty stinger bumper on for 3 years now and not one spot of rust and I live in Midwest and my DD so it gets driven year around, I have heard horror stories about smittybuilt but I have had no problems so far

I heard the fronts are cake and the rear is a pain if you don't have a helping hand. I've got a Jeep buddy that has already installed his and has experience with them. So......hopefully it goes smoothly the second time around when he helps me.
