How many total rows are in the front panel and the back panel? I get confused by your counts like rows 2- 9, does that mean 11 rows or do 9 after you have done 2 rows? I'm sorry that gets me mixed up otherwise you do a great job with instructions.

Greetings from Texas! I am in the process of beginning this top for my daughter and I just wanted to confirm your gauge. Is the gauge done with sc as opposed to hdc. Unless I have a tight tension, my measurement is coming out wrong. I just wanted to be sure it was written correctly. Thank you. Beautiful pattern. My daughter picked this one!❤
