The tweeters in the A-pillars, all I can think about is the airbags. This install is amazing and I'm sure it sounds as good as it looks.
@ResoNixSoundSolutions2 ай бұрын
The airbags that are in an A-Pillar are whats called curtain airbags. They do not fire out. They fire down and provide a curtain to protect your head from hitting the window and b pillar. They are pretty much never an issue for speakers in the pillar.

I have been saying that forever. Guys telling me 250hz was too low for Xcelsus xxm325 and pretty much every 3 in mid I was like no its not. I listen loud and while I did have a issue with a xxm325 with a buzz but thats just inherent to those drivers. I wont ever cross over than 300hz midbass just have to many issues in almost all applicatiom ime above that. +1 on dash mids I agree they are usually the best location unfortunately in my new build it wasnt a option without getting crazy. So I had to make a compromise and go with UMA mid and tweet because I had small pillars aswell. The plus though is getting the mid and tweeter center to center vertical which will benefit stage boundaries. This was a great video I just keep shaking my head yes lol. Great job guys I look forward to meeting you both next season when I bring my new build out.

Nice video and awesome cars. Just curious, what mids and highs do you like or would recommend? I know it's a listening preference.
@ResoNixSoundSolutions3 ай бұрын
Hey Vernon. I find that equipment selection is much less of a listening preference than people make it out to be. Those people typically just arent as experienced as they make themselves out to be. Accurate is accurate. More accurate and capable speakers will be able to sound better, and then be adjusted to do what the end user wants them to do easier. I use Accuton Automotive speakers in my car. I also have been using Micro Precision a fair bit recently and am loving them as well. The Arc Audio RS are great for the price. I also really like the Steg MSS3 midrange, and the PS Sound AMT tweeters. Karma Mobile Audio is my go-to for budget-friendly options. BLAM is my go-to when im using a Helix DSP Amplifier and need as much power as possible since they are 2 ohm, and still sound great.

Hey Nik. What’s the best use of the amplifier bass boost that everyone seems to hate so much and label as useless? Thanks Bro.
@ResoNixSoundSolutions29 күн бұрын
@@andrewmitchell2666 it's just an eq band, but only + gain, not - gain. It almost always resides in a frequency range that needs cutting due to transfer function of the vehicle. So yeah, it's useless.
