Xsplit has so many problems with me. I have a one year free premium subscription with it bundled in my GTX 1070 so I tried, but then reverted back to OBS that seemed more optimized than Xsplit. I don't know. Might be because of my CPU.

You can multiple output with xsplit as well we stream to 3 facebook pages and 1 youtube channel all at the same time and even enables you to use ur graphics card to encode the streams. This is used because this way your processor isn't affected

Hey Justin have you looked at the program Manycam as a multi camera live stream switcher. For the cost and its features I am surprised it is not spoken of more that it is. A feature I like is that you can get the app that enables you to connect your mobile device to the stream enabling another camera input. With the greenscreen capabilities and lower thirds it makes for a good inexpensive option. Regards Russell

I installed Wirecast to try it out. You told us its easier to use and more intuitive than OBS. Since a hour Im trying to setup the audio and Im still not done. First time I installed OBS it took me about 20 minutes to setup everything and start streaming. Because of its price you will find only tutorials made by very old persons. I use OBS. At first, it seems that it is hard to set up. But I found some articles how to do it even for specific cases. For example, how to set up OBS for CS:GO for Twitch on the middle end PC. After setting up, just one click to start a stream. Benefits are that OBS doesn't use much hardware resources and you can play and stream with almost no losses of fps. That's why I like it. But anyway, the video is great. Thanks!

How stable is the Ultra Studio Mini Recorder by BMD for live streams? I am planning to buy a switching setup (ATEM TV Studio) soon but I am confused whether to buy a dedicated hardware encoder like the Teradek Vidiu, or just the Mini Recorder would suffice?

Dhiraj Salian I have both and in my opinion the vidius are useless. The pro could be ok.. but the standard and mini are rubbish. The BMD recorder has been rock solid

The newer versions of wirecast are really good and not really resource hungry anymore. The CPU / GPU usage will really come down to the types of livestreams you'll be doing, number of cameras, number of screen shares etc.. but wirecast should definitely be on your shortlist if you have the budget :)

It used to work ok, but last week I had a major issue with wirecast, zoom and skype.. crazy audio feedback.. Apparently it could be to do with the wirecast audio drivers.. I'll try to uninstall and reinstall.. but to answer your question.. there really is no really easy way to do this natively.. belive.tv is awesome for facebook lives.. or zoom on their webinar plan will let you go live on fb and yt.. not cheap though and no customisation that you would be used to in Wirecast.

Justin Brown - Primal Video is really my only solution to spend $5K on a Skype XT unit if I wanted that? I was able to figure out how to zoom in on Skype calls with OBS and make it look a little more professional (you can see my latest live stream), but there was a lot of playing with it and tweaking I had to do. I'd love to be able to just capture as a dedicated feed.

I can confirm that for i7 9750H/RTX2060 I don't lose frames using XSplit Broadcaster 720p compared to even a really optimized Streamlabs OBS 720p.

Obs 4k was lagging and delaying on a 1080 and a i7. Messed with all settings in tutorial setups and no luck. Xsplit worked with the Brio right off the bat. No lag. No fucking with the ms audio delay. I'll pay 5 a month to not get pissed.

Hello. It`s there any service (stream platform) were you can stream at 4K?! So far youtube live can go up to 1440p (20500 rate, i beleive) and 4K for uploads, but they add many compresions and is look very bad compared with the original, in particular the stream! :/ So whats the point to have hi-tech capture card, or high end pc + expensive capture software if the stream looks like shit? i have sli 3x gtx 1070 G1 + 1x gtx 1080 ti , so i can use any of them with r7 1700x @ 4GHz +64 Gb ram @ 3000Mhz + 500GB 960 Evo (nvme) to record at 4K with xsplit/gamecast, shadowplay, etc so i don`t need a capture card. I need a good and popular streaming service, even with with membership fee. Twich & Hitbox can go 720p, YT live 1440p, but it looks pathetic. I don`t know about Mixer, but it seems 720p crap, too. PS: In the few tests i`ve done, Xplit or Gamecaster performs visual the same as Nvidia Shadowplay (feee- u need a nvidia card), only that i`ve set X264 (it will use cpu - was maxim 55% load) and the record looks choppy, but the gameplay was fluid. WTh... The shadow play can go up to 1440p @ 18K bitrate.

KZbin does support Live 4k streaming. We've done a few tests using Wirecast and it worked OK but definitely put the system under some serious load - and the internet speed too 😀 In our testing we set the bitrate to 20,000 but KZbin supports up to 34,000 for 4k 30fps. Vmix software says it supports 4k streaming 'out of the box' so might be worth having a play with that.. keep me posted!
