It's for creating animation frames. It's a third party animation tool application by Chinese dev.

I'm just curious, whats with android apps? I know they're not able to run on HmOS Next but that's not good... It will take years until important apps are developed for HmOS Next, with some apps maybe even not get developed for it. Will there be some sort of virtual machine (similar to Gbox or Gspace) that let's you run Android Apps on HmOS next?

Yes, it would take years to get all important apps, while Huawei localises apps country by country in global rollout long term during H2 2024-2025+ that's the plan. To fill the app gap, virtual machines will be facilitated by Huawei Petal VM, there will be similar Gbox, Gspace apps, or those actual ports, VirtualAndroid is confirmed to be in the works.
