I sold both my 2020 and 1989 tw200 and bought an xt225. I was toying with 225 conversion on tw200 and after buying a ttr225 I figured why not just give the xt225 a try. Great videos! Glad to see it back on the trail.

I plan on building a TW225 6 speed as next winter's project. I think a TTR 225 would be great fun, but honestly the XT225 leaves me wanting more on the highway. And I don't think most of the XT fans are checking their indicated speed and comparing it to GPS speed. My indicated speed of 70 mph is an actual speed of 61 mph. That's quite a jump. It'll do an indicated 80 mph maximum downhill, a GPS verified 70 mph..

Jimmy! Gracias for all yer videos. They’re great! I bought an 07 xt225 back in April and have been tinkering on it and making use of many of your informations. I have some leaky fork seals that I need to address. Any chance you could post a video about replacing those? Just thought I’d ask. BTW I also really dig learning about specific wear and fixes you have come across owning a used xt (like the segment you did on the pinched breather hose leading to excessive oil use). Cheers!

Another great video mate. I put folding mirrors on mine, very cheap on ebay. What tyres you got there Jimmy? That mate of yours on his TW, what a combination!

Thanks! I definitely need the folding mirrors. The tires are IRC Battle Rally TR8s that I just put on. They're probably 80/20 tires and I'm loving them so far!

Definitely gnarly! For some reason the little TW200 seems to reward sitting down more than standing up. It's unorthodox but seems to work. We survived it!

The side x sides have ruined the riding for motorcycles at Haspin, it’s not rideable for two wheelers there. I won’t ride it anymore. Just stay at the the campsite and watch the quads, SXS, buggies.
