People tend to blame Chara of being the villain in the genocide route for killing monsters but the one who's been killing people left and right is none other than the player. But then again you have your own opinion you can hate or love Chara that's your decision.

Muffet played a bigger role during XTale it seems, but we can't forget who the unmentioned hero was. Without Alphys' intervention it could have ended worse. There's so much going on in this video that showed how each character would be like in the future. Frisk would become a catalyst for Chara's reason, Gaster would be more determined to experiment, and Chara would start to rebel against Gaster's plans. It's amazing to see how that worked during this timeline. Great work Jakei!

Yknow, watching these Xtale videos, I could almost sympathize with XGaster and his desire to make a perfect world for the children to live in, but this video on particular dashed those thoughts. This video showed that XGaster is not only ruthless, but willing to actively manipulate the children to do as he seeks fit. XGaster burned whatever could redeem him in this video. This feels like the turning point.

I like the character development here. At the beginning, you think that Cross and Chara are just your standard bad guys, where it seemed like Chara was just using Cross to accomplish some ulterior motive, and while that may be true, we've started to see that they both have reasons for what they're doing and, finally, the true villain has been revealed. No, Ink was always that way, and I don't think he can overwrite the one without soul.

XGaster was Jealous/Envious of his friend Ink Sans and other Undertale Aus that Ink was protecting his whole life. XGaster just wanted to be the guardian of the AUs, just like InkSans who protects the UnderTale Aus. but XGaster had allowed himself to be consumed by his feelings of Jealousy/Envy and hatred of other Undertale AUs that led him down the wrong path.

I don't think that the Overwrite button can affect out-codes, like Ink or Error. I think it can only affect 'in-codes', characters who are still in or tied to their AU's code. If the Overwrite button could affect out-codes, then Ink could just ask XGaster to overwrite Error out of existence, negating any need for a truce between the two of them.
