have to say it: Martina McBride did a wonderful job, but she was severely outclassed by the other ladies. Florence is probably the most underrated singer there, she clearly lacked the years of vocal training compared to the others, but made up for it with raw talent; Christina does what she does best, pouring her heart and soul into every note; Jennifer looked so relaxed even while belting, so she's a natural; Yolanda definitely showed some spirit and her Gospel background shines through.

The last minute of this video is HILARIOUS. There was obviously a coup being pulled. 11:45 Jennifer and Yolanda exchange a glance and a grin. Yolanda nods and grins HARD. 11:52 Jennifer steps BACK from the mic, looking at Yolanda again. 11:55 before Christina can even finish her run to scream, Yolanda takes the moment from her and drowns her out. Bonus points for Florence's beautiful, sustained harmony belt. 11:56 Christina snatches the mic and comes in as loud and growled as she can. It doesnt work. 11:59 Jennifer does the black American "laugh and clap". Then she gets her lick in at 12:06, just as powerful as Yolanda and ALSO drowning out Chrstina, who had switched to her weird higher register at 12:01 to no avail. Singer shade is the BEST.
