THANKS my man - I just got my D1 Pro and air assist and was wondering why Makeblock/xTool haven't published any updated documentation regarding the installation of the air assist on the Pro laser module. I came to the same conclusion on the unnecessary steps of the adding the hose guide, and light shield + nozzle replacement, but feel 100% better having my assumptions validated by someone with obviously more experience. You've earned yourself a subscriber - thanks again.

Hey There Paw Paw.. So, I have a Onefinity CNC and I'm considering adding a laser to my shop. I can't decide if I should go with the J-Tech 14W laser that will add on to my CNC or if I should go with a 20W xTool.. what's your thought's? I know you have both! I originally thought the J-Tech so I can have a bigger work area but then I watched this video so I don't which way to go.
@PawPawsWorkShop2 жыл бұрын
I have often considered both options also. In the end, I like having two separate machines. The xTool D1 Pro is an outstanding machine. I like having the option of doing two projects at a time.

I love all your videos you do. Have not missed one. I do have one disappointment. That is with XTool themselves. They seem to be very good and quick with giving machines to youtubers to review, and do their marketing. They also seem to be very smart with using pre-sales money to fund there builds. But they are VERY slow at customer support and delivery/supply of machines to the general public. Going to be months before I even see mine. Purchased through their SMART launch live feed for the PRO series. So would not hold my breath waiting for any free gift.

That’s why I don’t trust them, I’ve seen many experiences like yours around 😔. I ended up going with the Atomstack X20 Pro a couple weeks ago and I’m very happy with the experience, it arrived in only a week (even being a very new machine) and it works great, it’s the same power as this one but cheaper (it includes the air assist pump with the core package).

Hey Paw Paw, I think your videos are awesome, but just wanted to point out that at 5:42 in this video, you said you're setting it at 100 Inches per minute, but you're wrong! If you look at it closely, it reads mm, not inches, so 100mm/min is equivalent to 0.0394in/min!

Hi Paw Paw; I always enjoy your videos. I have an X-Carve that I haven't assembled yet. When I was looking at Easel I wondered why they called it that name. It then occurred to me could the X-Carve be mounted on a vertical wall at a slant like an easel and still operate? That would save a huge amount of space in my tiny shop. It would be terrific if you made an episode on this subject.

Thanks a Stack for a Brilliant vidclip, just love watching All that you have to offer, So Super Helpful..... Now Here is One for you .... I am having a LOT of trouble cutting some Light Green Coloured thin Cutting Sheet .... HDPE or could even be UHMDPE .... 0.9mm thick... It is that real cheap Cutting Sheet that you buy at the Supermarkets or Kitchen supplies. It just seems to 'Reweld' itself .... Have tried nearly ever cutting & power setting combination .... Let's see IF You can solve This One ..... :-) :-) :-) Best to Youand Yours from New Zealand

I really like your videos and appreciate your content but went back and rewatched the video and saw settings in mm/min. All of the marketing material from xTool and other reviews show similar results in mm/min. I bought a D1 a couple weeks ago to replace JTech 7w Pro. Big fan of you. I have learned a lot from watching you. XTool Will never buy another Xtool product agian. They dont know the products they sell. VERY UNHAPPY with Xtool support. You can ask them pre buy questions to make sure its going to work with your devices. They will lie to you to make the sale. Then tell you its incompatible. Now i did manage to get it to run on my "incompatible" laser. making a new plug. That they would not/ could not make or work. Everything Xtool support has told me was wrong.

That is disappointing. Have you sent this information to xTool. I will definitely send this information to the support team. They are a small growing company that has prided themselves on a quality innovative product with excellent customer support.

@@PawPawsWorkShop I kinda figured if I could figure out how to get it to run on a 12v system they should be able to do the same. I worked with Xtool support for about 5 days. Do not gift Xtool to anyone. unless you gift them the recipt? then you will be on the what looks to be a 2nd support group Tier maybe?
