It is a very nice module at a good price point for an IR laser. That 1 mm depth of focus is really tough though, there is very little margin for error or setup variations.

Just finished watching video, and thank you for that. I have xTool D1 Pro 20w laser and my laser (dot) is NOT as small as in your video. I can't seem to be able to adjust it any smaller than what seems to me as approximately (2mm) laser dot. NEED HELP

Is the sided bar a must? Must the distance between laser and object be precise. Must the object be always flat, cause i did a metal plate where de side of that plate is not flat but has a curve. Thats where the laser didn't began to angrave. what am i doing wrong.
