Thank you for the video….it was very informative but I have a question….did it help with the smell and the fumes in your room? I just purchased the s1, I used it last night for the 1st time. I have it in my basement and I don’t want that smell/fumes in my home. Did it truly work?

Yes it truly works. Make sure once you setup it up that where you are venting out of your space is tightly sealed so no fumes can still leak in. It has made a major difference for me. I moved my S1 to the garage now and have it venting out from there using the same kit I had in the window and it is working just as good with minor tweaks to get a good seal.

Good work, folks. Nice to see you building and making things work. Keep it up and I appreciate your good spirits. Looking forward to seeing some fun laser work. Thanks for the tip on not moving it with the riser base attached! That's the kind of thing I am likely to overlook.

Does the fan integrate with the onboard fan or xcs in any way? Do you run the new fan all the time during use of S1?

The inline fan helps to push out fumes etc more efficiently while you are using your xTool s1. I have to turn on the knob for the inline fan separately from xcs. It does not work like the air assist. I run the inline fan all of the time based on the materials that I use and what I do with them. So for example if you are cutting wood and acrylic you want to have the inline fan on. You can also adjust the inline fan as well but I usually just run mine on high.

Cool, I have an aftermarket fan I am putting in. I feel like a 40w s1 on a riser is a poorly sealed smoke factory.
