I have had my S1 xtool for two weeks, and it all of a sudden lost it's laser beam. I googled and googled to find the problem, and finally came upon your video! It's the best one I've seen for cleaning. I was set to return the cutter because the manufacturer thought maybe it was a power problem, and there was no way i was going to start tearing apart the mother board to check it out. But your video showed me now to take everything apart on the laser module to clean it, so i did, and realized the protective lens was damaged. I put in the replacement and all is working! Thank you sooooooo much for your video!!

Really useful video, it’s more detailed than the official Xtool official video 😊

is there a real need to take off the hose and lens protector? does smoke get into those areas?

Maintenance we did was all the maintenance that the manufacturer recommends. We followed how they said to do the maintenance for the Xtool S1 and put them all together in one video. Of course not all maintenance needs to be done at the same time each have there own timeframe based on use. As for the hose and lens protector based on what materials you are using you can get build up that can visibly be seen and cleaning that build up will keep your system running optimally. Especially for the lens you don’t want it to be blocked with particle build up.

How often do you need to clean it?
@liciatoday4 ай бұрын
It’s really based on how much you use it. So in general the more you use it the more often you should clean it and vice versa. Check out the description for more detail. Take care.

That’s way too much grease and that should’ve done once a year only.

My husband followed how the manufacturer said to grease the rails after I accidentally wiped all the grease away thinking it was dirty. We made this video as a tutorial for whenever anyone needed to know how to perform preventative maintenance. Thanks for watching.
