it isn't rude of one direction if i was in their place i wouldn't want to wait boringly and watch someone else's interview i would probably do push ups or something but i wouldn't know that it would attract attention and besides rebecca is the one who pointed towards them thats why konnie put the camera towards them otherwise if she hadn't pointed then her interview wouldn't have been "ruined" so i dont think one direction is at fault it any way

Not sure is its her "hard performing facade", dunno whether its bcos she knows and she doesn't care that most people dont like her,perhaps she feels "so long as Cheryl and Simon and Will.a.am likes her who cares about the public".....Whatever is going on in little Cher's head, WHATEVER IT IS,it reflects as lack of humility and cockiness, im not warming up to her worse and worse, I cant wait for her to go off screen even when they say her performance was "great"... Anyhow,Good luck to her.

Actually I don't think it was like that. They were making her laugh. Everyone knows how timid Rebecca is during interviews. I think it was more they were trying to break the tension on the stage and the nervousness they all were feeling. And it worked. You noticed that Rebecca seemed a little more calmer and confident after she laughed. That's what laughter does. It loosens you up and helps you relax. And 1D are brilliant at bringing on laughter and helping people loosen up and relax.

I'm even happier One Direction didn't win seeing this. They seem so cocky and definitely rude of them trying to get audience attention whilst Rebecca was being interviewed. Matt and Rebecca remained quiet and respectful when they were being interviewed.

I don't think that was the case at all. Rebecca is always so timid during interviews and they made her laugh. After she laughed she seemed to loosen up and relax more during the interview. There was still so much tension on that stage and so much nerves, I think they were just trying to break that tension and help everyone relax. Which is actually good for Rebecca, not bad. Plus, it doesn't even matter that they didn't when this show anyway. They did very well outside of it (so well that they surpassed the winner of this show in success), conquered the world, so I guess you weren't so happy afterwards either, for years, seeing them go further than Matt and Rebecca outside the show. Sorry, but they did. Both as a group then later as individuals.

It's still a shock to me UK public didn't support 1D after their breakthrough, they were constantly mocked by critics, not taken seriously, their only support was from fans. They had much more No1's in US and other countries than in their motherland. Ireland was great, on the other hand, way more supportive)) British music listeners can be so narrow-minded at times and absolutely ignore the fact that the boys not only became a national pride but also, ehm, paid tons of taxes with their commercial success :) People just have to accept that they're not just some voicless dolls, they are really talented artists, they're amazing vocalists, they write their material while in the band and as solo artists and they're not going anywhere any time soon (I hope xD).
