Have changed to using the silicone grip tape stuff from Amazon now. Less weight, same functionality, Cut like 8" pieces, wrap while stretching to it's limit, self fusing, works great. bands of it spaced like a 1/2" apart. Also, moved the magnet to lower area, to also act as a blocker, just above the smaller holes, to keep small thing from falling out when scoop is tipped back while in deeper water. Wish the small hole/slots made up the whole rear panel.

Chuck must've sold them his designs or own this company cause they're the spitting image of his

I doubt it, but they are surely similar. Have had at least 5 or 6 of Chuck’s over the years past, among many many others too. These xtremes are extra tough. Latest addition is a titanium one,, holy wow is the lightness an unexpected game changer.

@@UABFWSS oh they're definitely nice and since sunspot is out of business these designs are the only game in town if you're into this style. i'll be picking one of these up soon

So.....over 2 years down the road, how is it holding up?
@UABFWSS2 жыл бұрын
Tough beast of a scoop. Have a few now. There is no other scoop that'll hold up as well. I've tried them all, several times over, countless hours digging in every condition possible. Not perfect, but very rugged designs, everyone's opinion of the perfect scoop varies.

what are the zip ties for?

to hold his bar magnet in place.....snags pesky iron crap that could possibly slip out even the smaller holes.
