Smurf, I just did a foam wash/de-con then finished with topper as a drying aid and put a coat on after My Dad's car and My Acura were dry. I gave it a foam/wash with Reset today,blew it dry with the leaf blower and used topper. W O W!! The finish is like ice! I think it's glossier as well. Amazing product! Nice video, you were definitely "Geeking Out" LOL. I clicked the link and they had a link to Brian at APEX Detailing reviewing Topper. Impressive the way it breezed through the 10 wash test and two rounds of Citrol 266 (The Sealant Killer). As a stand-alone it definitely looks impressive. The "jetting effect" (darkening of the paint) wasn't really there, but that tells me that it's 'invisible,' it won't "mute" the gloss or reflectivity of whatever you are putting it on top of - which is a good thing. If I wasn't already looking at the Hybrid Solutions PRO, I would definitely be looking hard at Topper.

Getting to much haze from a compound add 367 ice to the pad increases work time and leaves way less haze clean up with the 496 Finale they got. Then drop 403 , Polyseal after it cures and then Topper. Or you can obviously polish down add 403,404 let cure and top it with a Spray and rinse then let cure and top with Topper. I’m telling you bro it’s crucial.

Please compare it to Polish Angel. Is the feeling as good as or better? I have it and love it, and the product is a bargain. I bought it right after Brian at Apex did his review on it with the Xtreme rep in the room telling us that the product was made because Brian requested it and they are now working on a new product this is going to be a "SHEETER" and not a beader as Brian has convinced them of the reality of what we need vs. beading. They expect it to be out this year. So I ordered "Topper" and LOVE IT!

Not sure if you've used Waxedshine Aquabead. It's a topper or can be used as a standalone. Some rave about the gloss and about 3 months worth of protection. I'm wondering which might be the better topper for gloss and protection.

Andy, I haven't used Waxedshine yet.. Topper is phenomenal but it's not really ment to be durable for months on end. 3-4 weeks.. but built to add slickness and gloss.. which it definitely does.. 👍as long as your on top of maintenance regularly durability is irrelevant imo.. unless a product says 1 year and it don't last 1 month hahaha.

Yes, I currently use this on my GSX after every rinseless wash... I don't drive it much. Also, I used to use this after each wash on my Honda until I put the coating on. Can also be used as a drying aid as well. I prefer after as a dry application 🤙🤙

Yes, that would be the order I'd use them in👍👍 Resist is your more durable base coat... Topper will help maintain resist. And keep up the slickness.. although you could pair resist with Defy from Ethos as well. Both are great 👍

Wazap! So i ended up getting a bottle of it to compare with my beadmaker/paint gloss combo i use. It is slightly sleeker , but it smells like soap 😅 which is whatever as long as it works. One thing you didn't or anyone I've seen mentions is that it dyes or leaves behind a dye on your remover/spreader , that being a towel or MF applicator . I use applicator to spread after spraying so mentally i can assure i covered everything lol, then i remove/buff with a towel. But now I have a "stained" applicator which will be dedicated for this topper, no biggy.

Also , to test the static grade of it, i went and applied half of the car with p&s combo and the other half with Xtreme . Gonna leave it without washing for about 3 weeks and see what's up. Oh and applied seal and shine under, but just on the front half of the car to see if both products have different results with and without a "base foundation" Right away the next morning i noticed that on the windows and piano pillars the Xtreme side had more dust laying on them, but both sides cleared some once i drove at good speed, so that's good.

Really?? I use it after every wash and all my towels have been ok. I mean, I do wash em.. I guess next time I'll have to remember to pay more attention to see of it leaves a dye. As far as the static keep me posted as to how each performs with the base layers. I have great luck with Topper vs Beadmaker with static. Then again, everyone is not going to have the same environment 🤙 appreciate you updating me man!!!! Oh ya, I think it smells good man!😂😂

I only noticed because I used the applicator to spread it , my towel after removing it just looked a bit darker. Regarding the static , i know learned that like you say, it could vary depending on your environment. Apparently dry places like here in AZ it's better to use low pile towels than plush ones. If I'm not wrong you're using creatures or 420+gsm towels which are the same I've used and for the most part i have heard the static charge as i buff, so i probably have boosted the static with that. So now next time I'm gonna use my edgeless 365 to buff and see if i notice a difference or maybe try a lower GSM towel. Just sucks cause I feel that with those i could leave some micro scratches 😅

Ahhh ok. Yeah I use the edgeless 365s👍 I haven't had any issues with micro scratching at all.. just make sure they are clean and inspect before using. I've noticed too with the high pile towels if I buff at a high speed there will be static electricity haha. Try to not be the flash when buffing 😆 that's what I told myself LOL

Gloss, and slickness go to Topper. Not saying resist isn't slick... cause it is... not saying resist isn't glossy either. Edge goes to Topper. Resist Still is the more durable protection however.. so it takes the W in protection. 2 different products imo... Topper is well designed to bring the slickness back in coated vehicles but can top anything 👍 appreciate the love for sure!!

So, yes.. they are in some ways similar however after using both.. a pretty good amount.. they are both very easy to use. Titan provides more durable protection, shine and gloss, and slickness.. Topper is no slouch in slickness though. Just not as durable and that extra kick in gloss and slickness that Titan gives just takes the edge. So I go for Titan.. still have and will still use topper though.

This stuff is tha shizzzz. I like to say it makes the paint feel “soft”, and “velvety”. It is amazing. The other place I use it is on the interior glass. It makes the glass so crystal clear. Obviously clean the windows first, but give it a shot.

PapaSmurf918 I’d be curious your thoughts on it. I especially noticed a difference at night. The lights don’t have as much of a blur to them. Makes me think the SiO2 is filling the pores in the glass so the light refracts less. Just a guess. I use TacSystems Rain Coat on all my exterior glass and Topper on my interior, so you have an idea my complete setup.

Santi, I cant say its " better " Defy is it's own slickness but is also a waterless wash style product.. Topper is not, there Jersey devil is there version of Defy.. topper is just a topper. As far as slickness I honestly think they are both just as slick but will come down to what base layer of protection you have on the car. I'll be doing some testing with these on the test hood in upcoming vids👍

Defy, is one of my favorite products by far.. has a little more uses than Topper so I wouldn't put them in the same category really but slickness.. now that's a CLOSE one. Very slight edge to Topper. and I think that the base layer of protection will be the deciding factor.. both absolutely insane slickness.. Topper is a tad easier use as it flashes very very quickly. Paul, ok so in order of slickness? Topper #1... breadmaker #2 and TLC2 #3. As far as Ease of use they are all pretty easy to apply to be honest, Topper however being the easiest.. and a tie between beadmaker and TLC2. Slickness? Topper takes the cake, beadmaker 2nd and TLC2 3rd. Gloss? Hard to judge. I need more time with topper. Durability wise.. Hard to say. I haven't tested it as a stand alone. TLC2 is more of a stand alone type sealant.. topper and beadmaker really are designed to top base layers of protection so durability really isnt a concern in my book. Beadmaker usually gives me about a month.. I hear topper is in the 2+months as a stand alone.

Joseph, defy and topper are 2 different products. Defy has degreasers and surfactants to serve as a waterless wash. Topper is designed as well, a topper. To be slick as all get out and add a little protection to existing coatings or protection.. they are both fantastic products.. both easy to use, slick and provide great gloss. If I'm not reaching for topper I'll be reaching for defy. 👍 hope that helps

Super slick to help hydrophobics.. this is designed to restore the slickess back into costed cars that may die down after a while. But, can also be used to add gloss which is great with topper. Slickess, and up to a month of protection to help maintain your coating or protection currently on vehicle.

@@kimnewling5728 that is exactly why I prefer the edgeless 365s over the plush ones. They tend to be a little grabby depending on how slick the paint already is. I find they are great if you already have a good base layer that is slick, and your topping it.. but applying a base layer they will be a little grabby. Not the case with the edgeless 365s. I'd rather use 2 or 3 towels than deal with grabby plush towels 👍 now, after applying with the 365s I'll definitely grab a plushy for final buff!!! 👌👌

Defy being the more versatile product would take the slight win BUT I feel topper has a hint more slickness.. and its own slickness at that.. Ross, that problem is why I like my edgeless 365's. I can not stand when you go to wipe and the towel slides over itself... literally the WORST!! LOL. There are tons of towels some better than others just gotta find which works better with certain applications👍
