I keep getting a strong LEGO DUPLO vibe from these. If a child likes to see a train moving in a normal 'stable' manner this is going to freak them out, often children who have a focus on trains get anxiety when it's not moving in a stable way

These are some funky and cute My First engines, since they've been launched in Japan as well on shelves with Plarail stock. I think there's potenial for a Wave 2. The next could be Diesel (w/ paint cans and crate of sand) Kana (w/ stack of logs and music box) with two other characters, a Cranky set, and one with Gordon. I won't say much on the James set, but the one with a Thomas variant carries cogs and goes up a tower lift.

Bruno getting one of these models is super unexpected I'm surprised they didnt do a 2 pack of him and Diesel or him and Percy. Since hes always with Diesel in the show and then Motorized paired him with Percy
