Extra notes: 1. There are delays on everything these days, this was actually meant to be out already, but it should be really soon, kinda worked out timing wise anyway! 2. Still getting used to this new microphone, I added a de-esser, but sorry if they're still too sharp, I'll keep practicing with the mic and hopefully figure it out 3. I have the M42 wireless, along with Haste and Viper, but didn't get the video done in time and wanted to do this video for the 7 year anniversary, I'll get a video out for them asap 4. Also got the update on the chairs video, been testing a lot and seeing how my back feels, will do that in the coming weeks too Thanks again for all the support! Hope the videos have helped, that was always the goal and I think the channel did its job, not sure where I go from here, but definitely want to get my novels done, that's been a dream 20 years in the making. Stay tuned!

Big congrats Zy for the achievement. I got a white and black MZ1 and this one could be my 1st wireless model if I go that road. (wireless give me health issues so I'm reluctant to bring that in my setup).

After using the original rail for several months now, I only have one criticism, and this could be me, because I have very large hands. Because of the finger tip grip, I have felt that the mouse sensor is too far forward and makes it a little tougher to keep my vertical aim level while swiping left and right. As I said, might just be me and my hand size, I still like the mouse and use it every day. Thanks and congratulations on your success!

All me. *says with lowest damage in the round* I definitely helped guide it a lot, but just to be serious for a sec, the credit goes to the guys behind the scenes figuring it all out. Making mice is insanely complicated, there's no way I could do it. I can design shapes and say what we need, that's about it.

I seriously hope though that you and Xtrfy will release a pro line of the MZ1, 3395 with 4k option, without RGB and holes. Make it feather leight with smaller bty. That will be my dream mouse. Only thing I personally would do is cut the length of the front slightly, remove the holes and get the weight even lower. About a year ago I was heavily considering getting the MZ1, Never ended up going for it since I hadnt tried enough mice to know if I'd really like the shape and I was really looking to go wireless. Even though as of about a week ago I'm maining G pro superlight, I can promise that one day I'll cop Zy's Rail. the opportunity to try a mouse solely designed for aim potential instead of the latest result of mouse designers trying to out-safeshape eachother and/or copy Zowie again is not one I'll pass up. Big respect to you and to Xtrfy for making this happen.

Figured I'd go on here when I got my MZ1 Wireless. The shape is definitely different, but for me at least in a good way. I broke all my records on aimlab by 30-40%. I was playing back and forth between a model o and the G303se. Model O was very comfortable, whereas the g303se forced me into a claw. With MZ1 I feel it really well balanced for my 18x10 hands. I don't have many gripes for this mouse. Other than adding more customizable shells would be cool. The scroll wheel is a little tight, but overall... People don't make new mouses to suck, only to get better! Amazing work!

I've been using the wired version for maybe a year now and it's the best mouse I think I've ever used at this point. Even while working it feels so nice in the hand I love it! I hope eventually there will be software so we can custom edit the RGB options. That's all I think I could ask for. I will mention that I started having issue with my wire within less than 6 months and I had to buy a Paracord to replace it. That's my only complaint. They did also send me a replace me as well anyways so if this one dies some time in the future, I have another one ready to use.

hey hey! just a thought for a video, but i think it’d really help a lot of people out. I’d like to see a top 5 mice video best for different grip styles (i.e Top 5 Mice for Claw Grip.) Im sure others on the internet have made something like this, but i, as many do, value your opinion above others because you actually have taken the time to experiment, learn, and explain mice in full detail. I think it’d be so helpful for those looking at all of this to narrow down what mouse is best for their hands. I would never have thought MZ1 wireless would fit my + 20cm hand. Was sure it would be too small and give cramps. I got it from sale, gave it a chance and It's truly amazing. I like the new back part that is lower, it fits my claw grip better. 4ms Debounce setting is best in my opinion. Players with bigger hands, give MZ1w a try eventho it is a thin mouse. I've had hand cramps with bigger mice that are shaped differently.

I have only owned two mice before this one, the g502 and the GPX Superlight, but I have this feeling that since I tried the MZ1 Wireless I will never be able to adapt to any other shape of mouse again (it really fits like a glove, you don't even feel the holes in the shell thanks to the solid plastic part placed in the right place). I have tried both shapes and I prefer the original shape. Thanks again for this masterpiece. Edit : my way of holding my mouse has changed so I just rewatched your video called : "How to know your gaming mouse grip | Advanced Grip Guide" and here is the result : 1. Elevated (because i'm using a Delta Hub Carpio 2.0 wrist rest. If one day for whatever reason i stop using it then it will be Anchored.) 2. Angled 3. Hybrid Palm (same spot as your grip in the video) 4. Relaxed Fingertip 5. Wheel Tips 6. Separated

I absolutely love how Razer let us assign stuff to mouse wheel up/down. For example through hypershift I set it to volume up down. Logitech doesn't allow this at all. Now my purchase decisions are mainly based around that and shape/weight. I'd love to see XTRFY make this possible too if they ever make a software.

Xtrfy have spoken about software but not sure where they're at with it. Also the MZ1 Wireless has a low and high back, you get to choose, both should be included in the box. And what DPI do you switch between and why? I've tried DPI switching and found I did better with a consistent DPI, so decided against switching.

@@RocketJumpNinja DPI cycle comes in real handy for games that have mismatching in-game vs menu vs desktop sensitivities. That is usually the cases with use of high DPI for better motion latency and subpixel accuracy. If XTRFY ever makes "xtra-shift" like razer and all buttons assignable than MZ1 would be a no brainer for me. MZ1 seems to have one of the narrowest grip width and lowest button height on the market which is great for me. Wireless is a great bonus. Way to go. Now I'm not a mouse expert by any means but as a claw gripper I found smaller grip width to be more precise for aiming just like you. Which makes me think if we're actually moving towards eliminating any grip mass between fingers, all the way down to single point. It's like we're trying to grab just a sensor, like a pencil. The issue is we have to fit bunch of buttons, switches, pcb into design so it ends up bulky. Often preferred hump palm contact is perhaps self-evident mice are bulky... Going too small is when we become limited by our hands or fingers. So who knows maybe future competitive gamers won't use mice at all if the goal is to remove all limitations/bottlenecks. EDIT: I've just watched hausgaming's review on G303 Shroud where he said you've mentioned something along these lines already. I haven't seen this anywhere, I swear to god lol.

Yeah I think it's just the logical conclusion after you play with different mice with different widths ... so you think "well, does that mean extremely thin would be better, like holding a pencil?". A lot of this stuff becomes pretty common. I even figured out a comfortable grip width matches up almost perfectly with the measurement across 3 fingers. Someone else had already come up with that the three knuckles are also that same measurement (same fingers). So really to find a balanced grip width, you can just measure across those knuckles (index, middle and ring fingers). Mouse science stuff. Anyway, yeah makes sense on the DPI. Let's hope Xtrfy get onto it! That said, I would prefer that on the keyboard if it's just menus, because I want to keep the mouse for aiming as much as possible. Even using side buttons can upset aim, so I try not to bind them to anything I need while aiming.

G403 Hero was the endgame mouse for my medium 19cm hands, because the shape, sensor, and all mouse buttons+wheel were all great in one mouse. I have been playing with it almost exclusively for 4+ years. W/r to Xtrfy, I have the M1 NiP edition, it had a old but good sensor, but was way too low, long, and flat. Some mice brands also seem to always put the thumb buttons much too far back. This is something that is not reviewed, even though most people's thumb tips are 10mm behind the second joint of the index finger with little variation. I like to press the thumb buttons inwards, not up or down. Then they can be not too stiff, and still not trigger from picking up/putting down the mouse quickly. Glad to see your cooperation resulted in a competitive product! However, I already think it's not for me because of the shape, I have tested so many mice. I also prefer wired mice, as it's one less thing to charge, one less thing to forget to charge, and there's no battery that can die in 3 years or so, and then I can't get a replacement mouse with the same shape and features. I do like that the mouse can be opened, some brands make this harder than it should be.

It's crazy. I was trying to get away from this mouse for a while in the pursuit of lower sensor latency and some other reasons, but even after using the Endgame Gear OP1 8K for several weeks I just aim better on this mouse for whatever reason. I think I have figured out the reason being mostly because of how the sensor position is designed on the OP1 8K to only be in line with your thumb instead of like on the MZ1 where you use two fingers like your thumb on one side and your ring finger on the opposite side. It makes it perfectly diagonal to the sensor while still being in a comfortable position. Those two things just make it more accurate to me than I was on the OP1 8K. Also I came back to this video to see if you had said anything specifically about sensor position, but I don't think you did. So that's why for the random comment. Also I sent Xtrfy an email wishing for an updated version of the MZ1 with a few wishlist items like a solid shell, and some other stuff lol. Out of curiosity, did you know this about sensor positioning before-hand? Or was it just pure coincidence?

I have a pretty unique design for a mouse but I wouldn't even know how to go about creating it and making it a reality but I'm pretty sure it would become the best design out there.

Long time viewer ~ You are genuinely amazing my gai! I remember when it used to be a major thing that Logitech didn't bend the cables & now it seems like most companies are finding a way to get rid of them. 😂 It's wonderful to see you actually get to design your own mouse; I trust your input on this more than just about anyone's as I find you do a really good job at giving me a mental image of how they will map to my hand, which is really nice given that my grip style is a 1-3-1 [almost] fingertip-style grip (apparently I'm the weird one & not the other way around 😂]; this just seems incredibly natural to me & much less strained than a 1-2-2; it also keeps the sensor forward & gives me better control when it comes to fine movements. We tend to have a very similar preference in the style of mice we like so I'm super stoked about this & will 💯 be making this my next mouse!

I customized my mouse myself! The logitech g100s form fits me perfectly, but the sensor is mediocre at today's levels. So I took the pcb from the logitech g303 and adapted it to the body of the g100s. Also, I positioned the sensor a few mm upwards, and this makes it incredibly aim... It is perfect
The strangest mouse I've used...
