I agree that you didn't hear much of a difference because your room is already relatively well sound-treated, but actually I did hear a difference. There was a very slight echo when you didn't have the isolation shield thing compared when you were using it. Only slight but I think there was a difference. Whether it's worth having the big shield in front of your face....? Well only you can be the judge of that!

Nice video, I'm looking at the model specifically. However your room is not only quiet, it's already been sound treated! Also I would like to see it compared to the old one too. I would love to see you do this same test in another room, a noisy room. Maybe try it in your kitchen and then to be really hard on it, try it in your bathroom. I mean that's what it is for, removing bad acoustics. Testing it in a good acoustic room is redundant. Not as redundant as testing it in outer space, but you know what I mean - push the product.

Looks good, but I feel it needs to be about another twoc foot high and an extra two feet wide. It did sound quite good and there was a difference when not using it. So I think this is a good bit of kit, I just wish they would make it bigger all round.

Thanks for the heads up about whether or not the Xtuga isolation shield would work with the TONOR T20 boom arm. Out of curiosity, though, did you try adjusting and stretching the arm at all to support the Xtuga’s weight, or would you just be better off buying an adjustable microphone stand? Thanks for the review!

So I'm a little hesitant to tighten the knobs on the T20 boom arm too much because they are plastic and I don't want them to break, but also I think the max weight that the T20 can hold is 4 pounds and I think between the Xtuga isolation shield and the weight of the mic I'm already over that weight limit so I think you would probably be better of getting an adjustable regular mic stand

Translate if you can. I don't speak English Você tem um quarto tratado... Acho que o escudo irá tirar bastante o brilho da voz. É importante ter um pouco de "ambiência" na voz para gravar. Assim você não precisa ficar colocando "Agudos falsos" na hora de mixar. Soa mais natural

How do I actually put it on the mic stand? Should I use the little nobs at the bottom of the flaps?

Do you see the little silver metal piece with the threading on the inside? That is the part that screws onto the mic stand and it attaches to the long metal flap piece that you screw to the isolation shield
