Xu Xin is NIGHTMARE FOR ALL RISING YOUNG PRODIGIES. Let s remember, Harimoto can once win against any top world super stars. Lin Yun Ju can sometimes win against worlds top players too. But against Xu Xin, they have no chances, they always lose and repeatedly lose more clearly. The main reason is that Xu Xin is the player, who play most logical intelligent table tennis style now in the world. Any his hittings are very confident and balanced between accuracy and speed. You can see that, Xu Xin does not so much often earn points from uncleared cases by extreme powered fast balls. But Xu Xin gradually get advantages by combining spin+positional ball placement+athletic challenging, then he forces opponents to make errors. So the secret is that his statistical percent of fair balls is very high. The most same player is Timo Boll. Other players can sometimes make devastating fast balls from uncleared cases, but total statistical percent of fair balls is not high. It is not science, but it is stupid. Xu Xin is the representative of very specific chinese invention too, penholder backhand reversed side style. The success of Xu Xin proves that China really can invent effective new style in table tennis world. Otherwise, China just shows that they can well copy world styles but can not invent new own.

@@philippelepage1609 yeah, Xu Xin was not superb because he did not play backhand racket reversed side. He played as a traditional penholder with only one racket side, as Ma Lin. But from this year, Xu Xin plays entirely as modern penholder with backhand racket reversed side, so he is superb. Backhand strokes are no longer his disadvantages now. You can see in this match, that Xu Xin backhand strokes are obviously more sensitive and with more spin then Harimoto backhand strokes. The key factor of modern penhold backhand style is spin. They can easily and more sensitive produce spins in forehand and backhand strokes. Many shortseeing people think that the main role of spin is to cause troubles for opponents. But they are wrong. Of course, spin causes troubles for opponents, but it is not the main role of spin. The main role of spin is that spin oriented playing style helps players to get more ball feelings and ball controls and ACCURACY in any hitting. When you have accuracy or improving accuracy, then you can easily gradually improve ball speeds and powers. It is the reason why Xu Xin hittings are very confident and sensitive. But with lack of accuracy, it will be failed to increase ball speed. It is the common reasons of all very common usual professional players.

Important note about Harimoto's screaming: It is much less annoying when watching him play live, because it usually blends in with the applause after a good point.

Harimoto looks inept against Xu Xin... he presses harder & harder until his forehand completely breaks down. No chance against XX unless he copies Ma Long forehand.

Xu xin fore hand is just too powerful for Harimoto to handle .Players like Fzd,LJK have good defence to control XX forehand and sometimes win against XX. Also now XX is playing back hand so it’s difficult for anyone to beat XX in his current form.

Harimoto will always get bad luck because everyone is cursing him. His mistake is screaming. Otherwise he is young and humble boy. He has never displayed ugly behavior when he lost. Many others players had behaved badly when lost.

Harimoto's strength is to play short strokes like chiquita and forehand flicks which requires a quick ball release type of blade that has a harder outer layer but the harimoto ALC has limba which is very soft and hence it is slow & grippy which does not compliment harimoto's direct stroke gameplay.
