Thank you for bringing life to form. Without it, form is meaningless.

Hello, I would like to agree with you. I practice tai chi and for balance and preventive health applies your comment certainly, although you do not pass to much the foot lineage with the knee in the last time you show the application, thank you for keep the art alive.

Ba Gua Zhang follows the principles of fundamental physics. It's only a matter of time before we start seeing it in MMA fights...

The applications are from Chinese Wrestling that's why (if Cheng Style lineage). When people practice an "internal art", you are really developing a quality or skill, rather than this idea that it is a unique physical martial art. What makes it unique is the mindset that's applied, and the way it approaches the techniques found in other martial arts. The human body can only move in so many ways, afterall, but the mind is infinite. If people realized this, there would be less hate on things like Taijiquan and Aikido vs MMA, and more MMA and Taijiquan crosstraining in developing mindset and qualities for improving...rather than a physical art vs a philosophy trying to be a martial art without sparring. Afterall, Donghaiquan himself was a master of many "external" arts before he learned the soft philosophy and application of it that eventually became today's different branches of Baguazhang. Same with Taijiquan. The guys who popularized it, all had external skill prior to developing the soft skills. The best fighters, actually fought, they didn't just excel at forms and theory. It's also earned over time. Even Royce Gracie talks about "invisible Jujitsu", these are qualities of sensitivity training learned and earned over years of experience and actually sparring/fighting.

Do you by chance teach in person as well
@christopherspohn8071 Жыл бұрын
Uhm, that can be firemans carrying a person. Not just the underhooks. In fact if it's Bagua it has 8 techniques to each move. Why it's 8 trigram. Oh, ok i see your showing the apps all them.

@Vitaly5173 жыл бұрын
