Hi there!! Jen here 💙 I'd like to apologize for not being 100% on point when it comes to the lyrics! I did use the official soundtrack booklet that was included in the P3R limited edition whilst recording but used a fanmade lyrics video as vocal reference. That probs caused some lyrics errors. I'm incredibly grateful for the feedback and feel extremly sorry that I wasn't more focussed on the lyrics. I'm sorry about that - I promise to do better 🤍

Every lyrical version is a "correct" rendition. The original intention behind the artist was likely to leave it up to interpretation which aptly fits the game's motifs. the official lyrics are good to have and all but i don't really think Takahashi/LJ transcribed them themselves so I wouldn't apologize for getting the lyrics "wrong". they're meant to be ambiguous and often "misheard"

This sounds great! I don't think you need to worry too much about some of the lyrics for this song since a few of the lyrics just don't read right anyway. If I did my own cover I would probably make a few more changes.

nah honestly you should have deviated harder, every alternate interpretation of 1:19 I heard has actually been superior to the original -sometimes a journey is about a chance -sometimes a journey is the bonds we share bangers, and just easier to sing
