I think this is a pretty cool system and I plan to keep it in mind when I redo my rig. I currently use an EAD for my drums that I feed to a small mixer for just me. I also have a mix or a line from the monitor running into that and the click. I currently keep everything wired up and ready to go in a small case. But when the time comes to change out some gear this could be a great smaller option. I like the idea of not having to keep a big case right next to me at smaller venues in case I need to change my mix but I do agree with some others that the price is a sticking point. For about the same price I could go with a smaller mixer that gives more flexibility. Cool cool idea and I think maybe a v2 or even different hub that would maybe allow you to run everything into it and then with an app or something pick what goes where could be helpful. And who knows maybe that is on the road map, but I think if someone was looking for a small mixer to blend a monitor feed with a click and idk maybe a room mic this could be the ticket. Great video Mike! You got my gears turning for sure.

Some drummers will like having it all on a belt pack, and some prefer the mixer. Both good options.

It's $129 currently. Available on Amazon. Saw another review on another YT channel. Your review was good from a drummer's point of view/reference - the other one was not. Keep it up.

Yeah, the price isn't a dealbreaker, but for how narrow the fit of this product is for some, I think it's going to limit some people from purchasing, but yes, as a drummer, there's some nice usage.

In one of my bands, I'm the only person wearing in ears. I use a small and cheap Behringer mixer that I put on a small Gibraltar table attached to my hi hat stand. Plugged into it is one channel of just my vocals and a second channel of a click track from my iPad that's panned hard right from the mixer that I use briefly to get a sense of the tempo before I turn it off then start the song. So this new Xvive device could work in my use case. But for $130 that's way more expensive than what it cost for my setup to still be hard wired. Not to mention the thick cable that plugs into the pack would be quite weighty when worn as opposed to a much lighter and thinner headphone cable coming from the headphone jack of a typical mixer. I appreciate Xvive for coming up with new solutions for us drummers, but I feel this one is a swing and a miss IMHO.

I kinda feel the same. I have the same setup as you and I run backing tracks. Don't know if you can find tune adjustments like you can with the Behringer.

@@pauldasilva870agreed. The Xvive solution only adjusts volume on each channel plugged into it. You can't adjust panning, equalizer, effects, etc like we can on the Behringer mixer

I think that's fair, and I share similar sentiments. In full transparency, I was sent this is April and asked to make a video before it was available, and when I asked them about the price, they we're not settled on it yet. I still think for this price it might be the perfect fit for some, but that's a pretty narrow audience in my opinion.

i dont know how difficult could this device be to use in small bar gigs with a small console like 18 channel input...and 6 outputs because the rest of the guys need there own monitoring normal system

I think I’m a setting like a Behringer XR18 or another small digital mixer, you probably wouldn’t need this, but still I’d take one aux from the board (band mix) and then use the extra channels to do something just needed for me as the drummer, maybe a talk back mic from a band leader, or maybe a metronome if it’s just for the drummer.
