I hope you enjoy this video. I thought it would be good to actually try this pack at a gig as opposed to just playing at home. Here's a USA Amazon link if you want to check it out - Rock on! 🤘

I've been hoping someone would take these out live and show they perform. I've got a Line6 G10 I use here at home but I would like to get another set for our guitar player and this just might fit the bill. I'd like to try out the new Boss wireless gear too.

I've been using these live for over a year, fantastic wireless system. Batteries are still holding up, charged in about 20 minutes!

Sold!!!!! I’ve always felt wireless systems in place of traditional cables was hit or miss and would somehow ruin the signal tone from the guitar. Time and time again you have proven me wrong and opened my eyes to a new way of thinking!!! For the price of this unit you can’t ask for a better deal and results!! Can’t wait to see the 100k jam!!!! Looks like everyone there’s feeling the groove!!!! Cheers Shane!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

Shane, great news, my friend! I bought a pair of the nickel & they work splendidly with my electric, classical/acoustic AND my active EMG pup axe-ESP LTD White Zombie KH. Now, I do not gig. I only jam, shred & practice in my home 'studio'. I set up my Marshall mini stack & U2 receiver in my bedroom, playing thru my active-pup ESP LTD. I walked all the way out to the front yard & the sound was uninterrupted. My wife watched the receiver & the blue LED did blink a few times but I never lost sound. Bottom line-this is a trip, time, headache saver from cables! So glad it worked with my active pups because I love those EMGs! The 'polethylene' casing seems real strong & should last a good, long time! Thank you for this demo! Best I've seen yet...

I absolutely love this system I have been using it every day for almost a year now, I even take it with me to the music store when I try guitar and basses, bring my power bank, bird cord and a favorite pedal and hours of fun can be had. Cheers Shane.

Dang, Shane getting his jollies! Sounded great bro. I picked up the Xvive and use it all the time. It’s great. Never a problem. They do say it is not compatible with active electronics but that’s the only shortfall. The plastic housing makes it feel cheap but I went to a craft store and bought a little wooden box that looks like a coffin and that’s my road case. Lined it with a couple of Fender cloths and it’s protected. When I’m done playing it’s the first thing I put away.

Most purposeful demo of these yet. Everyone is making these fun, around the house videos, but not answering the will it gig question. Nice job, Shane. Thanks!

I've been using these for years now, have two sets, one black, one silver, one set on charge while I play a set, swap between sets, full charge for next set, never a problem, no quality of sound loss or volume, sets you free from standing in one spot or tripping on cables on stage, cool.

Great demo and playing. I just got this system as well, I used it live this passed Saturday night. I had a (very) occasional hiccup in the first minute or so after connecting but, After they settled down it's overall great. No stepping on wires, Free to roam around with the band including into the audience as well. I highly recommend this system also very compact.😁

Great live vid, great playing, great band! I’ve been using the Xvive for about three months. Love it. I go from the guitar to the pedalboard. Still cables to the amp though. I could get another set and go wireless to the amp too. My Xvive on the pedalboard is always getting charged when the pedalboard is on. I only have to worry about keeping the transmitter charged up. Doesn’t fit in guitars with deep narrow jack cavities like the Ibanez S series guitars.

I've been using them for the last few months (including a few live shows) I've had a (very) occasional hiccup in the first minute or so after connecting, then they settle down. Sometimes mine glitch if you roll the volume down a lot on the guitar. Overall though, I'm pleased with them. It's great to be free to roam around (including into the audience!)

1st of all-great jammin! Nice licks, bro...Great demo, Shane! I'm sold on this. Seems elementary and great for non-gigging folks like me, too...Keeping it light-weight is a great idea, too. That's probably why it feels inexpensive...

They're a little different to a cable. There's a lot more high end to them (almost Hi-Fi sounding), but you can dial the amp in to suit. The thing I like about them on a Strat is no static when you touch the strings (or any guitar for that matter). Get them when artistguitars have their sales and they're normally $50 off RRP. BTW Glad to see Ric still plays the bass with the same jaw dropping enthusiasm!

Nice demo. I have been wanting a wireless system like this for a bit. This might just make it on the Christmas wish list now. The housing does look kind of cheap but I wonder if that was done to keep the weight down, just in case you get a little nuts on stage. Extra weight would make a unit more likely to fall out when jumping of your amp :D

I had them as well and on the first gig had nothing but trouble with dropouts , the wifi in the pub that was being used to order food and drinks made if impossible to play , and when my friend turnd his on complete disarster , all I can say is dont leave all your good cables at home and keep one near your amp ...you are going to need it , for me it was BS and a total waste of money my ones were silver, is there a difference between the black and silver units , I have also seen other colours or are they all the same ?

I’m thinking about these with the base model of the new Yamaha THR10. It costs £355 for the smaller wireless amp plus £85 for the line 6 relay transmitter, so £440. The 30 watt £419 plus £85 so just a tad over £500. The base THR10 2 is £265, these are £109 so £375 all in. The only difference in the 10 models is the built in receiver and the battery power option. If you’re not taking the amp anywhere and you don’t need it to be quite so “wireless” why not save £65 and use third party gear with the amp to get the same result? Seems a no brainer to me.

@DMSProduktions5 жыл бұрын
Good stuff! It's just a RADIO signal basically still, so there should never, EVER be any 'lag'! It is NOT being 'processed' so 'latency' is a non issue!
@hoboroadie5 жыл бұрын
The papers say 5ms latency. That is probably imperceptible, as Shane attests. Its virtually the same as 5 feet from the mic so it would matter if you mixed it with an identical signal on a wire but... It is just comb filtering on dual mics where 5ms would screw up your phase.

@andrewmartin44365 жыл бұрын
Just to add a little bit of insight, I’ve had a few problems here no one else is bringing up; I want to help prospective buyers, but I also wanna know if I just viciously abuse my gear lol This is the best wireless I’ve used, hands down, but mine doesn’t really work anymore. The feedback is absolutely unusable, but it used to be crystal clear at one point. I’m pretty sure it’s just because I can’t be bothered to take care of my things, so I’d stress making sure these are safely stored. I drop stuff, leave things in bad temperatures, leave gear turned on too long, or forget to turn it off, etc. a bit more than I (or anyone) should, so I’m pretty sure this is just percussive maintenance gone wrong. Anybody else have a similar problem?

The hum has nothing to do with wireless it's the pickups in the guitar that aren't hum cancelling. Give it a shot you'll see you're wrong. I've used all sorts of wireless gear live for years and it makes no difference.
@ianfisher53165 жыл бұрын
@@intheblues I agree Shane. I have the same Xvive unit. It's great. The noise is usually caused by aircon, fans, fluro lighting, crt screens, etc. These can all cause issues with single coils. Regards.

Man…I like xvive products. However…this is a little misleading. These are great for practice or possibly a solo gig. If you’re in a situation where you have numerous players using low budget wireless systems, or in a venue that uses wireless signals on their own gear…your going to have a rough night. Still, the gear is getting pretty good. You can get a pro level system at $300-400 bucks at a quality better than I have paid as much as $700 for in the past.
