Fue una de las películas de terror que cuando era niña me gustó demaciado, recuerdo haberme asustado un montón cuando aparecieron esos mounstros pequeños que parecían bebes, yo les decía abortos cuando tenía 10 años. 😅 En ese tiempo mis hermanos veían terror y yo por no querer estar sola en mi cuarto me unía a ellos en el sofa a oscuras. Fue emoción ver esa película. Que recuerdos aún no me canso de verlo

they create a terrifying atmosphere, and keep you in it. magical directing and acting. movements, sounds, and the lack of scene transitions. when pyramid head's arm goes through the door, hey dont show the husband in the other reality abruptly, effectively dropping the fear and giving you an "action" thriller vibe.

Do you know who I'm talking about? There is no hidden meaning in the movie, but yes, the film turned out to be quite good if you look at it in isolation from the games

this movie has grown on me lately. played a bit of the games as well, made me sick as a kid. it's a shame this only got a 6/10 on imdb, I have a lot of respect for the effort that went into this. never thought that so much was actually filmed for real, nowadays it's all just cgi, even actors performing stunts are cgi. looks like a fucking video game. let's not even start talking about the decay of the jurassic park franchise....

De hecho si tiene nombre, y su nombre es Red Pyramid Thing (Cosa Piramidal Roja) ese es el nombre que el Mismo James le da varias veces en Silent Hill 2, en donde fué creado el monstruo ORIGINAL. Que todos le digan Pyramid Head en otras versiones coladas de Silent Hill es otra cosa.

@@MiguelAngel-wc8yj no es tan fácil adaptar tremendo juego y tremendo rompecabezas en un largometraje fuera todo hecho en computadora podría haber tenido más opciones de mejorarlo pero no se puede porque en la mayoría de las escenografías de la película son 100% reales y dado al presupuesto una vez que ya construiste algo ya no puedes volver a reconstruir eso porque toma mucho tiempo hacer toda la parte logística para los largometrajes o películas tal como el video es mucho trabajo.

As a fan of the games that is well versed in the lore, this movie is an absolute abomination. As a fan of the game trying to introduce non gamers to the world of silent hill, it's pretty decent. The costumes, effects, and music are all on point and nail the tone pretty well. I even like their interpretation of the pyramid head design. This film should have been in 2 parts, part 1 being based on the first game and part 2 being based on the third game, but instead the first film blends 1 and 2 together when those games weren't even related. So when you watch this as a fan of the games who knows the story it gives you some serious whiplash. Kind of feels like they skipped dinner to get to dessert but without the dinner the dessert holds less meaning. Everyone wanted to see pyramid head on screen so bad they screwed up the story just to speed that process up. The first film should have been bloodier and heavier on the satanic vibes. I probably would have picked Guerellmo Deltoro or Alfonso Cuarón to direct it. *Bottom line If the film is about anyone other that James Sunderland, pyramid head shouldn't be on screen.*

The movie is cool but the way they make silent hill just a town of bigots is kinda dumb, they change the whole plot of the game, the town is ruled by a cult who seems like normal Christianity but is very twisted they worship a woman who will bring suffering and pain to the world they make human sacrifices and yes alessa born with powers of that god so she was supposed to be sacrificed so that god could sorta born from her, they don’t want to kill her bc she was a witch the kids in her school were scared of alessa not Claudia or dahlia they actually were fascinated with alessa bc she was that special, even alessa itself believed that after the suffering and fire the world would have peace but that’s the twist of the main story there was not happy ending not in their mythology and not after all their sacrifices all of them die for nothing but suffering and stays trapped in silent hill that is kinda of a metaphor of hell or purgatory I’m ok with change Charles with a woman bc ok that makes more deep the connection with heather and so but changing the whole plot is way too much, now there’s no much sense for a sequel, that’s why revelations suxs and they will need to remake a whole movie to make the franchise coherent with games.
