You know what made him different from others? He made music from the heart. His lyrics says it all. He's not making music just for the sake of chart or anything (you can check the lyrics of one and only). The reason why i love him. I can relate to every song he makes. And that's his goal. Even his unreleased songs are so good fr. I won't be surprised if he release another album this year or song every month. He's on his own boss now. He's always been craving for FREEDOM ever since. Here's something that could be intentional or not by B.I.: Illa Illa is supposed to be like an onomatopoeia, representing the sound of waves. Someone will tell you that wearing a suit and going to the ocean is usually someone intending to commit suicide in Korea. He pops out of the ocean as if the suicide attempt failed. He might have found he did not want to commit suicide after all and gained newfound drive to continue. He mentions in the chorus after illa illa that "I'm swept away again by the waves that sway around my eyes"... He's surrounded by waves lyrically, metaphorically, and visually even in the beginning that represented suicide. Wait for it........ At the end, he shows a sound recording... of sound waves, which represent music. So what if this is video and story is of also him considering leaving behind the music industry when the scandal had started (commit suicide with his music dreams and career) but he decided to keep at it? He's swept away again by the music and sway around his eyes. At the end, he mentions that even if the sandcastle will crumble, he'll try building it again. Is this a metaphor for his music career and the challenges he may run into where he'll meet them head on?

Sand castles actually represents "dream" And at the end there was the sound waves so yes there are many representation on this song and mv The more a poem is simple the more you get a lot of interpretation in it and this one is really "chef's kiss"

The ending credits of illa illa MV really makes me teary eyed. When he first watched the MV he said its touching to see all the names of the person who worked and supported him in the beginning of this journey! also there's a contents video that was released yesterday and it teased a bit of his second album>

The fact that he went to the sea on a suit rappresent a suicide thought for sk society so yes. This lyrics is really deep. All of his songs tell us about his story and his emotions. The fact that the lyrics is sad but the song gives a comfort vibe is what makes you realise that B.I is really a great artist! Illa illa according to B.I is his made up word to describe the ocean like waves of words. Haebyeon means ocean/beach in Korean. He said that at the end of his sleeves is an ocean, meaning he is describing the amount of tears he shed like an ocean and his sleeves are wet from wiping those tears. The warm bubbles that pervades are his tears.
