This is their cautionary tail to their own generation gen z . The guy took a leap of faith. Getting up at the end shows you can survive without all the social media.

An absolute masterpiece of social commentary written by teenagers! And one of very best music videos I have ever seen! The intellectual and musical maturity of these three young women is mind blowing! The future of rock and roll is here and it's name is The Warning!

Pau starts the songwriting about 90% time. On their first EP there is a song written by Ale by herself when she was 8 years old.

In their January 2017 TEDx presentation where they performed three songs discussed their band, they indicated that they had just completed their first album and the songs they played were from it. Ale had just turned 12 years old, so they would have been 16, 14, and 11 when this was composed and recorded. Also, some of the songs had been written at the time of their original EP. So yes, they were kids! Their parents and manager have stated that they never hear any of the new songs until they complete their demos, with the exception of the Spanish language songs where they consult their mother regarding proper grammar for the lyrics. Thanks for joining The Warning Army, consisting of anyone who enjoys and promotes the band and their music!

While other kids her age are doing your typical teenager stuff, Pau is out here writing about social media addiction and opening your eyes to the world around you. It's simply ridiculous how much talent these three have. There are some deep songs on the album, enjoy the ride!

They are really young. I believe they were ages 11, 14, and 16 or so. Pretty amazing writing and performing at this level at that young of an age.

"This is their first song off their first album". Don't forget, they are indy at this point, meaning they did this all on their own (them and their team). no label or industry involved. Also, Matrix is Pau's favorite movie (mine too)!

The guy surviving the jump off the building is representing that taking the brave leap isn't the end.

Not a lot of people remark on the dull, lifeless color when the guy has his blindfold on, but when he takes it off, the world around (which is actually the Sierra Madre Oriental, the mountains to the west of Monterrey) immediately assumes rich, vibrant color. The director of this video, Abraham Marcos, is described as "[a] speculative fiction writer driven by a passionate interest in the future of humankind and the planet", and this video was nominated for a number of awards and won at least one. They have started playing this song live again on occasion. Disciple is often considered to be the followon to this song, with a similar message. Z and Kool-Aid Kids have related messages. Excellent review.

It starts amazing, and it stays that way. They were warning us as teens and they're still doing it today. The video calls for a little suspension of disbelief, don't dwell to deeply on the little things in the video. The point is take off the blindfold.

Based on The Warning Army: the guy who jumped off the building took a ‘leap of faith’. The guy in the underground parking lot appeared lost and did not get a chance to make that leap of faith.

One thing that gets overlooked is, how did the man and other characters get knocked offline? If you pause the video on a sharp monitor and read the text messages of the characters, the text messages are the lyrics to the song. It is The Warning that is sending the messages through "the matrix" and starting the revolution!

Thanks for the great reaction, they were actually in their early teens when they wrote this song. Actually the title track to their 3rd album, Error, directly addresses AI.😊⚡️

Incredible message and the fact that they were so young is stunning. The music was so good one of my favorite solos by Dany and the stare down at the end is awesome they've been Warned. 🔥 The leap of faith the guy took was a huge part of the msg because he survived it. The guy in the garage was gagged after he was caught this is also powerful . Great reaction dude thanks. 🤘⚡🔥⚡🔥⚡

They were in their early teens, I think. Ale is still a kid. Your analyses are very thoughtful. You've certainly gone beyond the usual reacter's schtick. I think you missed a great lyric, "Every truth has been sold". "Will we regret our addiction to the rush?" is a beautiful introspective line.

You imagine brother, this video was my first contact with the band… My only previous knowledge was from a video recommended several times by YT of some girls who were too small doing a cover of Enter Sandman, but due to the natural prejudices that we have among our human defects I refused to see them, until this video of "XXICB" in which I saw them older and curiosity overcame me… It was really a great impact to hear that piece and its lyrics. The next thing was another impact when I realized that they did a great performance with the Metallica song. But that was nothing compared to the tremendous shock I had when I found out there, from the comments, that they were my compatriots, they were born, developed and continue living in my own country!! But my adoration and fanaticism has been earned by them for their talent and great potential, for the beauty of their music, for their effort, their attitude, their character and their excellent way of being human beings. Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️

I really had hoped you started back with the Liceo School concert that had 4 covers, and 6 originals from Escape The Mind EP. Some killer stuff at such a young age. 2016 Ted Talk has 2 of these (1 Foo fighter Cover) songs in it. Shattered Heart is next up on XXICB, and it's a personal favorite to many of us in TWA, including myself. The lyrics and emotions these youngsters share with us, is flat out amazing. They say they read a lot about the world around them, and together they come up with the lyrics after brainstorming them together, with NO outside help. They do the same with the music itself. They won't even present a song to their managers or team until they have a completed rough draft. All 3 songs they do on the 2017 TedX Talk is from this XXICB LP. Unmendable, When I'm alone, and Survive.

“Every question answered, internet demands us, to worship it like a god!” Such a profound line in lyric. These ladies are lighteryears ahead of their age. At the time they composed this album they were Dany 16, Pau 14 and Ale 11 …..Simply mind blowing talent! LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!

This level of talent at that age? It's absurd almost, especially when you think all three of them have to be super talented for that song to even be made. Their parents won the lottery 3x hehe.

One of Dany's finest moments. She definitely got Gilmourized watching "Pulse" with the family on the couch. She said in an interview Comfortably Numb touched something deep inside her.

Great to see some more love for this video. The music and the lyrics are amazing, and the visuals just tie into them so well. While I really enjoy their live performances, it seems a shame to me that this video often gets overlooked. They managed to pack a whole storyline into a 6 minute music video. Why it doesn't have over a million views is beyond me.

i always wonder how many others notice the number on the indoctrination pod the baby is placed into... many of us think it may be a shout out to YES and their 1983 album 90125 which was released two years after Yes broke up... you can find a few links to that album in its entirety... not really a music video as it is only the music... it is a great trip back in time... oh! the MV for the first song on that YES album also has a similar theme with culprits and recovery agents... so back to this video... yes, the imagery is awesome and extremely thought provoking... there's a lot being said in there... one of the main things is about taking a leap of faith and leaving things behind... this is absolutely a song about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know... in this case, everyone is so wrapped up in social media that they cannot see what is going on around them... thus the blindfolds... the video was nominated for and won numerous awards back in 2017... - LA CINEFEST Semifinalist 2017 - Feel The Reel IFF, Audience Award October 2017 - Official Selection Austin Music Video Festival 2017 - Best Music Video Nominee Pantalla de Cristal Festival 2017 - I Filmmaker International Film Festival Official Selection 2017 - Best Script / Narrative Music Videos Pantalla de Cristal Festival 2017 - Best Music Video Around Films International Film Festival Barcelona April 2017 (not listed in any specific order) anyway, great reaction... yes, you're not the only one to be totally shocked at that one point in the video! 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

If the mainstream rock press ever gave a crap about real quality music and not just cuteness and hotness, they would make these ladies real stars. These kids would have been far more successful in the 1970s had they been alive then. Gotta love 'em for trying. I hope they KEEP trying. They're amazing people and incredible musicians. GREAT reaction with a lot of insight into the lyrics.

Yes, the leaping guy survived the video. The drum kit was not as fortunate. This would be an outstanding video if it has been produced by a seasoned, mature band with the backing of a major label and a huge production crew. The fact that it was done by a then independent band of young teens, was fan funded and had a small budget and even smaller production crew is simlpy mind boggling. Thank you for your reaction. You have a new subscriber.

In the beginning of the video the man takes off his blindfold. When he is captured by the thought police the blindfold is now a gag. "Cancel Culture." When the office worker takes off his blindfold the color of the video goes from cold gray to warm yellow. It is a brilliant video on so many levels
