@@Shyne_life 2ohm if you running .5 stable amp and power. 1ohm if you wanna be conservative which most ppl are. So I recommend 2-Dual 1ohm subs.

​@PoppaTInstall I have (4) xv3 15s and a 12k sound digital amp that I'm installing in a tahoe. So far I have 2 mechman 320's & a 90ah xs power lithium battery.. I'm planning of installing (6) 8"s in the front doors and (3) in each of the back doors and wanted to know will that be enough power or would you recommend more batteries?? If so what recommendations do you have brother?

So an 8 k will be enough for 4 of em no problems? I have a salt 8 and 2 of the xv3 15 in a smaller Pontiac torrent on a brand x 390 amp. Really wanting to do the dew and run 4 of em. I’m jealous of the room you have in there, still being able to fit backseaters I would definitely have to not have the back seat to build this. How many cubes is that box bro?

No. If you want to push 4 Zv3 subs you'll probably want a 15k amp.

@@BEAZY_5150 I mean, it kinda depends. I'm planning my next build to be 2 Xv3-18s on an 8k. You could get away with 3k per-sub, but you will have to turn it down maybe if the kick makes the amp clip. But if you're playing Rebassed music with flat sinewaves, then you'll be able to turn it up more without clipping, because there won't be any "kicks" that have a peaky wattage, if that makes sense. I normally get an amp with double the RMS rating of the subs, so I'm able to get 3db of headroom above the rms wattage. so for a 2k RMS sub, I'll get a 4k amp, etc... If you get 3 of those 18s you could run them on an 8k, but you won't really be pushing them. But it will still be 8k either way... Personally though, if I got 4 Xv3-18s, I'd get a 15k, or 2 8ks lol.

@@BEAZY_5150 also keep in mind, with impedance rise, your 8k is gonna struggle to actually produce 8k _real_ watts. If you rise to, for example, 1.6 ohms, you'll only get around 5,000 watts.

@@bailey2517 dude have you seen the price of a salt 12 lol I’m trying to get another vehicle for my gf before winter because I totally took it over. I’m planning on tearing the back seat right out. I got a deal on the salt 8, traded my deaf bonce stuff towards the price. I’d get another 8k but that would be 2nd alternator territory.
