A powerful song that all too often expresses how we wished we felt. There would be no pain if we didn't care and without the pain we have no reason to express such powerful commentary. Lovely song.

Trust me I wish I cared, it’s an awful existence. There’s no ups no downs, just neutral just nothingness. You here songs about the joys of love and the terrors of heartbreak but you can’t feel them, society seems to be built around it but without attachment and loss everything is meaningless, everything is void. Trust me this is far worse than whatever pain a heartbeat brings, because it’s simply nothing you just don’t care
@caedontielking546 жыл бұрын
Amazing Turtle I get that man. To not care for those around you to not caring for your own life and thinking about death and the only regret would be the one bit of family you are connected to still. Like my little cousin he's a year old and all I can care for
@amazingturtle50756 жыл бұрын
caedon tielking pretty much the only difference is that I don’t long for death but I don’t really care about living either. It’s just the middle. The little bits of me that do care about anything know that dying would make everyone who cares about me miserable and sad, and if I can help it I try to prevent people from being like that. I wouldn’t even say connected more I feel it wouldn’t be fair for them- guilt so to speak.

Um, actually it was released in 2007. In fact, if you'll look in the video's description, you'll see that the video was uploaded in 2008, therefore making it impossible for this song to have been released in 2009. The year 2007 was the start of my second grade year. So yes, I would say this *is* from my childhood. Nice try, though. :)

i think i see why people say they've been through pain, i think it's because they are scared of being hurt that they rush into things, hoping that it will end their sufering, but the real problem is is that people try to fill holes in their heart, but they forget something important, you should open you mind to more possibilities than trying to fix something with pins and needles, because that would eventually lead to the heart ripping open again, causing more pain, if they oppen their mind and think for a second, they might be able to sew their wounds and let them heal, but sewing takes time as well as healing, so my advice would be for those who read this and agree would be, open your mind to further possibilities, and take the time to think about what you could do to heal your wounds and stop the pain, but most people would argue "you have to go through what i did to understand" this is true but that doesnt mean you cant fix it, slow down and "read the fine print" and find the correct way to sew your wounds, no matter what happens to you, you can always make it better. and sometimes you have to look back, before you can go forward, look to those who care instead of saying everyone hates you, because thats not true, look behind you and see what i mean...

well what do you propose?....cutting...drugs...oh how about sex with everyone you can get your hands on......or, lol, here's my favorite....kiling people.... it is a way, but it doesnt do anything for you... doing what i said in my commet is probaby the bet way for people to get better, now tell me, what other way could you solve your problems? and the thing about it being tired...it may be true, but even the things that are tired work wonders if yo let it, thin about his for a sec, what would doing any of the other ways get you, the negatives outweigh the positives. people listen to music as a means of escape, but it only makesthem feel worse sometimes, "well how?" if people listen to the lyrics of a song, and can compare with them, they tend to only trust their own songs to guidethem, often making them feel alone, this may not be true with some peopl, but i've seen this happen to a friend of mine, she resulted to cutting herself, now how does that help anyone, if you cut yourself, what do you gain? nothing other than an addition to self harmming and a lable for yourself, people dont care for cutters apparenly, and gossip about people like that to make those people feel worse and do more self harm, often leading to suicide, or a rampage with an ak-47. so i ask again... what other ways could you propose that would help someone? and i alreay said talk to friends in the last part of the post, but it was an allusion (meanning a referance to something of importance)
@danijanyne10 жыл бұрын
Cutting yourself is the worst thing to do and so many people relate to this song because of the message behind it, like myself. I will freely admit I have cut myself on more than one occasion and the scars will never completely go away so many people like this so they should never self harm because I have learnt from what I did and it was a horrible experience so no never cut,

Cookie Janine Cutting yourself is definitely not the WORST thing you can do. I am one big walking wound from working on cars, fishing, knife and sword fighting practice, running through the woods, and very occasionally cutting on purpose. Tetanus shots, neosporin, and a basic knowledge of anatomy are all you need to safely improve your physical pain tolerance threshold and work through emotional suffering without addictive, mind altering chemicals. Go ahead. Try to make me feel something!

Discovered this song today. Fits perfect with how I felt after my dad was in the hospital after he tried to commit suicide. Not to be dramatic or anything, but I've had so many moments thinking "I honestly don't care if you had died instead of lived". I’m very late and rarely comment, but I’m a recovering “triple A” as I call it, and still going on day by day, but damnit I’ve been happier. The first week, hurts sometimes as much as that third month, but once you focus on yourself, and no one else, you find a clear path. It makes me sad I may be commenting now on another post that is gone already, but I hope you find happiness. Also, “happiness” isn’t something you’re born with, it takes a fuck load of effort. It’s not easy, but it’s damn well worth it. My mom once said, “choose your hard”. (She said this when I kept drinking, and never cleaning my apartment. I had bugs, gnats, disgusting.) but I chose to clean something I thought was uncleanable, my apartment and my heart. Hope you’re well, and to everyone else, choose your hard.

@bellagoodman79843 жыл бұрын
My friend did that too. It's okay though. I mean it is featuring Adam Gontier who is the lead singer of Three Days Grace. I just automatically knew this song though because my parents used to listen to it when I was a child.

This song sounds like a relationship between two people that separates them and whoever broke up with the other person is dating someone else. That person who is alone is basically saying that he/she has to deal with it and he/she doesn't really give a shit about what the other person does.
