I met Apocalyptica in Orlando in 2011. I was so nervous to meet them it showed and they were so nice to me. we took pictures together and talked for a bit. Great guys and made everyone feel welcomed.

This is absolutely nostalgic due to first having heard this early in the mornings during summer vacation before middle school and it really set the tone of my 'era' of emo, which this makes me feel like I'm getting old.

_THIS_ is one of the very first songs I ever listened to when I started listening to alt rock, back in 2007. I was in 8th grade, listening to 88.7 FM "89x, the ONLY new rock alternative" here in the Detroit area. Sadly, 89x went off air on Thursday, November 19, 2020 after 30 years of broadcasting to the Detroit/Windsor area. That goodness for KZbin!

In 2011, my high school nest friend asked me what song I wanted to listen to. I said, "I don't care" sarcastically, so she typed it into KZbin and found this song. Since that day, it has been one of my favorite songs. 13 years later, I still remember exactly where we were sitting and exactly how I reacted when we found a song called "I don't care." This song makes me both happy and sad. Happy because I remember the times with my best friend and sad because I relate to this song now that I'm older and because I lost her as a friend 2 years later when I was certain we would be life long sisters.
