One of the best games ever, BioShock. Released in 2007 for the Xbox 360 and Ps3 and one of the many games I never got all of the achievements for. It's hardest achievement is "Brass Balls" and to get it you have to beat the game on hard without dying. No achievement guide and no quitting, I'm not stopping until its 100%.

I think my favorite thing about the game is that the “would you kindly” is baked into dialogue that tells you what you need to do to progress.
@voteZDLR
@voteZDLR 2 жыл бұрын
Agree and it sort of flips the switch because at first you just think it's the quirkiness of the characters speaking and their dialogue or whatever and then you figure out that he's not just instructing you on what to do and requesting you do things, it just sounds that way to us but our character wasn't being asked at all he was being TOLD what to do. We had no say in the matter all along.

@@simonsoupshark8009 I had just played the game 2 days before posting that though, and after the ending went back through the first hour or two. Perhaps a difference between the original and remastered, but he definitely asked me "would you kindly" find a crobar or something, when I found the wrench. All that just to say I feel like there were more than 4 would you kindly's across the whole game. But I cant say if this was not the case in the original version, I was playing remastered.

@Diphenhydra
@Diphenhydra 2 жыл бұрын
I actually went back and finished this in January, the PS3 version not the PS4 version which has a few major differences. If anyone wants to do this I’ll give a few tips I learned myself. For the PS4 version, avid inventor can be cheesed by reloading a save, and the survivor no vita chamber trophy can be done on easy and just switching difficulties right as the final cutscene starts. On PS3 these trophies suck. Survivor no deaths I just saved constantly and had back ups of back ups. 1 at the start of each level and a few at various points. If you don’t get avid inventor by the end of the game you can go back to the bee area in that one mission and grind materials. It might take several hours but it’s probably faster than going through the entire game again. Also know that there are upgrades that let you invent more for less. Early game has an area before you fight your first big daddy where you can farm max money and can keep going back to it throughout the game to make sure you’re fully stocked. The first big daddy fight is the hardest as you don’t have much, but he has limits to where he can go and if you bring him to a certain doorway near the bathysphere he just doesn’t go through it and loses track of you, giving you a few seconds to attack without trouble. Are these methods cheesy and trivialize a difficult game? Yes, but also it’s on PS3 and the PS3 version kinda sucks and I already did it on PS4 so what of it.

I used to hunt achievements back when I had I time, and what amuses me is that my first two games I 100% were Dead Rising and Bioshock cause they were (and still are) my absolute favorite games (they made me love video games as a whole). This series makes me want to go back and tackle achievements that I know I can do now. I LOVE this series. I love that you cover a lot, you don’t take long in the video, you are extremely articulate and entertaining, and it makes the videos a lot of fun to watch (and rewatch). I’m so excited for the next Bioshock games, cause I know I haven’t 100% those and you’re hitting all those nostalgia fees that makes me want to go back and visit them again! Keep up the great work and you’ve got another subscriber!

It's so sad to look back at the Xbox 360. All those games we played with friends that no longer play anymore or don't remember who you are. Every single one of those games is legendary. The fact that you go back and not only play these games but buy multiple Xboxes just for achievements, it really makes me so grateful. It makes me wanna cry because I never got to experience the games I missed out on. I never got to see how alive those games once were, and I'm forever grateful that you send these games off one last time. Never stop doing this. You do a lot for us.

The bioshock series are my favorite, and imo it's really hard to find quality content about the game. So thank you for making this!

Amazing dedication man. That bit about “takes upwards of 90 seconds to save” is exactly what made me quit the game back in 2008. I got all the way to where you kill whatsisname with the golf club, then went to save, and the game crashed during it. Lost everything. So that’s as far as I ever made it. I’ve quit at least a half dozen games specifically due to my own personal murphy’s law with corrupted/lost saves over the years… I can’t even imagine not only starting over and actually trying again/beating them, but you go through HARD multiple times and go for even the achievements that literally almost no one on the planet had even when the game was new? Crazy man. Absolute props to you.

This video was awesome! Don’t worry too much about “following up” a 1.8 million view video. There’s not really too much you can do to control that, algorithm gonna algorithm. Just keep making quality content like this and it’ll all work out :)

That counter to your right at 2:54 can be used to cheese the hell out of Big Daddies. Get on the opposite side of it from a Big Daddy, then hold straight forward such that you're running into the counter while staring at the Big Daddy's face. The Big Daddy will think you're in range of a hit, but the counter is just enough to keep you from damage. Now you can slowly wrench your foe to an early dirt nap and reap the rewards. You can easily get a full wallet off of respawning Daddies this way.

@@xxStrayxxDogxx Just remember that the Wrench is your most powerful weapon if you're building your tonics/plasmids right, and that the 1 and 2 versions of tonics will absolutely stack. You become a speedy boi who hits like a truck with double speedboost and all the wrench boosting tonics. Oh, and you can make it even easier by bringing the Research Camera back to medical after getting it, and fully researching the infinitely-spawning Bouncer Daddies there for the permanent wrench damage boost ASAP. We'll see if you remember all this if you ever get the itch to play through again, though.
