Hey XY, just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work on putting builds together. I just ran this build through Vet Vat Hollows and this is the DpS build I have used to complete it. I am normally a tank man. lol I know people like to say this will not work or that build is trash..... Forget them you keep doing what you are doing. I love this build and it works great, I use a version of this for everything. The only thing that I change, even on an Oakensorc, is the Bound Aegis I throw on the back bar and still get the Minor Protection and Minor Resolve without even using that bar because of the change to just having it on either bar like the tooltip says in the video. I free up another skill to use like Daedric Tomb or Ele Sus in IA. Great accessible build though.

Can confirm this build is easy to use and OP af for a lazy player like myself. Managed to do Malestrom Arena vet no death run, Vateshran Vet no death and can even solo 2 of the Heralds on Apocrypha and solo Nymic bastion very easy. Also I believe it was one of Xynode's youtube vids that got me into ESO so thanks for that, needed to escape from that World of Warcraft prison :D

For noobs (like me) i found using destructive clench (shock clench) helped alot with aoe damage pre 50 dungeons since trash dies before you can even channel heavies/wall of storms last too long

Great vid as usual. Been running a HA sorc for so long. Im a solo/pugger. I run ele sus, wall (constant off balance), matriach, surg and aegis. It seems made for endless archive. What a blast. PS testing on trial dummy v normal makes a big difference. A lot of builds only use trial dummy. No good outside a trial. Cheers.

@@feralomen That’s a fair point. I just don’t believe there’s a thing called meta in eso, because it seems wasteful that the devs would put so many sets in the game, but I digress. I like the fact it works, it can do any content you throw it in, and excels in that content. But keep in mind this is coming from someone who doesn’t endlessly hit the dummy. I want to log in and play content. Nothing against those who wanna do that, but to me if I can’t hit 120k in actual content due to having to do mechanics, I don’t see the point in going for that on the dummy.

Id like to take this idea over to Templar, which gets a couple innate passive buffs that may help similarly how sorc passive boosts electric dmg. It probably wouldnt hit the same numbers tho. EZ mode lightning staff was designed for sorcs.

I watched your video because i was struggling to get a decent amount of dps. After trying this build, omg it changed my game completely. One note though i made a slight change of one skill. I use Crystal Shards. After Sargents has proc'd you have a chance of firing a free shard. My button for this changes colour so i know it is ready and add to the rotation. I am finding this so much fun, and i have you to thank for it. Keep up the good work.

If you use crystal frag then use the addon that blocks off the normal skill and only lets you fire the procced ones

I haven't heard you mention of the StormMaster set in a while, I thought it was superior to Order's Wrath for Heavy Attack builds. Has it been nerfed so bad that it's out of consideration for high damage builds?

It never was. On dummy it could be used to cheese dummy numbers but in content it was crap. It only procs on a gamble of IF you crit on the final pop of your heavy, 9/10 it doesn't proc. Yes it was slightly altered with a different cooldown type

brand new player here, picked up the Collection Edition on Steam over Christmas so have all DLCs and an ESO+ sub (unsure if needed, but thought I'd go all-in on ESO!!). I'm level 36 currently, levels seem to fly by, only completed 2 maps (1 small one on an island and N Elswyr). Love public dungeons / delves and farming skyshards, not enjoying questing so much, but I'm told I can ignore questing as skyshards/dungeons will get me enough skill points. Ultimately I want to play for Cyrodiil as a stam sorc, big PVP MMO enthusiast (DAOC, Lineage 2, New World, Eve, Albion etc), no real interest in pve outside of levelling / grinding CP. My question is, with no access to crafting yet and obviously no CP as not yet 50, will this build work for public dungeon grinding if I just follow the spells/spec and max mag with some random gear? At 50 I will farm the gear, but for now, I'm just looking for a nice aoe clear build for levelling up via public dungeons. I see so many people run through them literally destroying packs in seconds where I'm currently mostly single targeting each mob in turn (stam sorc with 2 summons currently and dual daggers and a full experience epic set - guild provided it but its all stam setup stuff). Not even an honorable mention for Noble duelist? Honestly I think it is the best choice. I also like to run exploiter and power overload. Off-balance with power overload is a face melter, over 130 k crit on the dummy 100K hits in content solo, sometimes, depending on the mob

Hey, that ancient knowledge passive: would that stack with deadly strikes gear? 12% on passive, 15% on the gear to channeled abilities? Hi Xynode, thank you for the build and complete explanation of EVERYTHING. I've got a problem: The Daedric Tomb mines are not popping more than once on a single enemy. I tried using it on a dragon so that I couldn't possible miss the correct spot. It stayed there the entire duration and popped only once on it. Did something change?

They changed it. Position it the same and use it sparingly. They pop now once a second, so it can stay on the spot for longer while you weave more heavies if it is placed well

@@xynodegaming That's the thing: they're not popping unless the enemy moves out then back in them. Only 1 out of 3 detonates when I throw it under a dragon. However if I make it move its model out of the mines then back on it the next one detonates as expected

No need for vamp, I can't think of a single benefit for this build. You don't need undeath, crit surge with your Shield is fantastic survivability

Critical Surge in this build is used purely for its survival capability. I personally think having both Crit Surge and the Damage Shield on a one bar build is very overkill in terms of survivability.

I think it would make it stronger, but only if you time its cooldown with when you are recasting things like the wall or the mines. Basically put out 12 seconds worth of super high damage heavy attacks, then spend 2-3 seconds casting other abilities, then the set will be ready to proc again with more heavy attacks. It would make the build a fair bit more complicated (which doesn't seem to be the intent of this build video). If you are like me and you just want a fun lightning focused alternative to the Pet Sorcerer, Noble Duelist and learning to time that 3 second downtime window could be a cool mechanic to master. I think I'm going to use that method.

How do you get 60-70k? Im running this build and on my training skleton I get 32k dps with meteor when its ready and wall of elements after every heavy. What am I doing wrong?

Using the skeleton dummy. You need to use the trial atronarch (21m) for the buffs and a realistic dps result

The skeleton dummy gives you an idea of how you'll do againt basic enemies I run this with a few changes and I hit about 70-90k dps in groups or trials

Knight Slayer can’t crit, I find it’s not so good for pve, I really like it on HA builds for pvp. Noble Dualist needs to be in melee range to proc, it’s still good, I use it on my pve HA Templar build because I jab’s after every heavy attack and for that to hit need to be in melee range anyway.
