Storm Masters is a good set. Done a lot of soloing with it. The only problem I had was vet Vateshran Hollows. Went 5 body pieces noble dualist because the resistance buff bosses get towards the end of the run. That being said if the red portal is your last portal, you can get the lava shield and run the adds out on the lava and aoe them down.

Well you’re talking about arenas. This isn’t an arena build. They’re an entirely different animal. P.S.- I still wouldn’t use noble duelist as my first choice. I’m not taking a light armor set into any arena, period.

Tried on my High Elf sorc. Testing on the iron atronach dummy, my clumsy first attempt yielded 75K. Nice. And no pe(s)ts!

Whenever I’ve tried it it’s been close but not quite as good.

@@esovault270 that's about what I parsed. I used deadly instead of storm master cuz I already had it and it buffed the heavy attack damage and dots by 15%. I also used force of nature for extra pen. Hits really hard in a group

I couldn’t tell the difference between deadly and storm master when I tried it so that’s a good option here. My experience with force of nature is limited. I tried it a couple of times and I suppose I’ll try it again at some point.

How do you handle fights with lots of ads like vet vateshran like the queen bee spawns?

This wouldn’t be my first choice when looking for an arena build. I like two bar builds for that stuff and when I was running Vateshran I was doing it on a two bar stamsorc with crit surge and a ring of the pale order. That was years ago. Hell, I don’t even remember anything about bees 🐝 lol Seriously though, if I was going to run the one bar sorc in an arena what I find woks well on one bar builds is to just spam a shield in between heavy attacks. That alone can get builds through a lot of incoming damage. Most of the dps is coming from the heavies anyway.

Take other sets and play without pets. Vat Veteran is no problem with sorcerer. 😊

​@@esovault270I personally use Nobles Duelist. For some reason, it was more consistent for me with dealing stronger heavy attacks. About to go refarm masters gear to see if it's better this patch for me.

I actually did a test with Noble Duellist, Storm Master and Tharrikers Strike earlier today. ND did best then light TS, SM with medium TS a bit behind. All in purple quality with divine and purple max mag glyphs I am a bit surprised about how good SM actually still is

A lot of people swear by Noble Duelist, but it never works that great for me. It doesn’t have a single line of crit and it has a wasted recovery line which kind of puts me off of it. I sometimes get the idea that I must be wrong about it but whenever I retest, it comes in third place behind SM and deadly strike.

@@esovault270 You are probably standing too far away. You have to be in mele distance for it to proc. Great build by the way. I like to solo 4 man dungeons so I am using it with crit surge and reaving blow cp in stead of fighting finesse. Looking forward to more content from you

The twilight, to me is the one that can be super annoying. I can play a pet sorc for short periods of time, but not all the time.
