Banged my head on the Cancroid last night for over four hours. Got to the first Maars fight and we got whittled down into quitting for the night. This time I'm doing my research. THANK YOU XYNODE!

Helpful tip for the azureblight cancroid (big root boss), you can go around just outside the blue aoe when taunting/damaging the infestor, as it will keep the circles much more controlled and easier to dps the infestor. Once you're damaging root, tank should bring infestor in as close as possible on opposite side of root. The aoe damage will give you a headstart and make the fight a lot shorter.

Doing this earlier my group found it easier to just name the pads blue, grass, dirt rather than numbers if that helps anyone. Also my group found that you had to dodge the fire attack, blocking just got us killed

I was having such a hard time as tank with Maarselok vs. Selene. I was pulling all adds to the stranglers but also chaining the hoavors into the stranglers as per request by the group. This worked ok when the hoavors were close but I was pulling all the adds away from the stranglers when the hoavors were on the opposite side and out of range. From now on I'm gonna ask if healer can try popping the hoavors so I can focus taunts and keep the adds grouped on the stranglers. Thanks for the video!

Something we ran into on HM, that wasn't mentioned, is when the blight purge mechanic happens, if Selen is still controlled by Maarselok you can't cleanse. You have to Dps her shield down before the blight kills you and hit your pad. Also having your tank run purge or netch to clear the DOT that the dragon puts on them, when they purge the dot blue balls shoot out of the tank and hit the dps leaving a dot on them dodge the balls and the breath if your running 3 DPS.

I need help understanding this as a templar healer. In a PUG and I was called a shitty healer because dps kept dying. Edit: I was talking about azure blight boss and I just realized how fast. You guys killed it before the stranglers spawned. As a healer I get a dot and all the stranglers start spitting at me. Purifying takes away 1 stack. I get overwhelmed.

if you are getting killed by stuff that should be dead, then that kind of explains itself. Sounds like the dps were trying to over burn a boss without killing the adds and didn't have the power to do it. I already explained this in the video, but if people have low dps in their group, you WILL get stranglers and you WILL need to focus them or become overwhelmed :)

30k max stam, oof. I wasn't satisfied until I got my nightblade up to 44k. Must have some great WD and recovery to compensate.

Recovery on stam/mag blade isn't too bad with siphoning

30-33k is pretty much standard for max dps endgame builds. You just don't need more, especially since what you'd be giving up in weapon damage / other damage modifiers would decrease your total damage output pretty significantly.

Don't like hm on this one. It requires comms that I won't have running this with pugs. Pretty much any other vet DLC dungeon can be done on hm without comms, with a decent pug.
