Discovered this on MAME last week, totally great game, totally addictive - the goal celebrations, the commentary, the referee falling over, just hilarious IMO. The kinda game that shows that playability is always the key to a good game, regardless of graphics or sound. Only managed to get up to the 6th game so far, just can't get past Argentina, had two games where i had the lead but just couldnt keep them out! :(

Nice Memories. The best (Arcade) Soccer Game of all Time. Super easy to play, nice tricks and you can shot (if u can) a lot of great Goals. I play this Game in the early 90's every Day/Week. My favourite Goal is a Lop from 20 Meters away.

Classice footie game. If you like this you may like the Super Sidekicks games by SNK. I've been playing Super SideKicks 2 on my Neo Geo MVS. I prefer the arcade style football games to the ones that try and be realistic.

This game is great because it's taking the piss! I always liked things like the referee being knocked about and the ball taking out the pitchside photographers. Also notice the player feigning injury after having his shirt pulled and the goalie dribbling the ball before taking the goal kick. There really should be more games that highlight the more ridiculous aspects of modern football. There was a game on the SNES called Fever Pitch that was similar.
