I come from an ethnic family and when I was 13-18 years old, my stepdad's friends saw me as an absolute prize because I knew how to cook all the traditional dishes and clean and take care of a home. I could also look after children from newborns and older, and I was a virgin. I was a "good girl" who came from a good family. These men were in their 40s, mind you. That's funny! I worked at a fancy bar/restaurant where this older guy, not bad looking, would show up every other week or so with a different and very visibly much younger woman. One night I asked one of the women how long they had been dating this guy, and she said oh about a year. I wanted to tell her so bad how much he shows up with other women and what do you expect to get out of this guy? I kept my mouth shut but I felt pretty angry at how this man is just using younger women, I wish Karma would control some of this behavior!

@@MsTy2908this is what I experienced. My father abandoned us and I grew up not knowing him too well, even when I spent time with him, he was always either drunk or high or both. I subconsciously needed and wanted a father figure, and sought that out by dating older men. I hope when my daughter grows up she knows she doesn’t need to tie herself and her value to a man. Her father being present already gives her a huge advantage, he’s very attentive and intends to play his part in helping build her self esteem and self worth, and to never settle with just any man when she’s older, that is ofc if she’s straight and desires to be with a man long term.

I was getting to know an older man and he told me he had 4 baby mothers and seven children. All of them were younger than he was because he didn’t like them older. Thinking about the patterns and finding out he was taking viagras, something in me felt that he wanted to “settle” with me after he ran through women and had all those kids. My twin sister is 36 with the mind of a 12yr old. She got knocked up at 19 by a guy in his late 30s or early 40s.
