How much time did you spend there? I'm planning my Kyushu trip. Only have mount Aso planned for that day, but I want to reach Yufuin afterwards. If I start at the museum on opening, am I done by 2pm?

yes I think you can do it on opening then finish around 3PM, I spent 3 nights in Oita, in Oita I took a bus at 10AM so kinda late
