In Germany there were car crash races that were run on a trotting track. 80 cars free-for-all and there were 5 points for flipping opponent, 15 for putting car on side, 25 points for putting opponent on top, and 40 points for flipping opponent. It was only allowed to crash on the spectators straight. During the first break and during the race, cars were allowed to be repaired as well as possible and allowed to drive again. After the second break, cars that no longer drive accounts were no longer allowed to be repaired. It was always driven clockwise until only 5-6 cars were left. They were then only allowed to drive on the straight, in such a way that the opponent was hit in such a way that he could no longer drive. Of course, the winner was the one with the most points and who was still able to drive to the end. The track was driven at speeds of up to 100 km/h and there were very bad rollovers, but there were never any injuries. There were safety regulations for the cars and every car was checked, and the drivers were definitely not wearing shirts and shorts, but solid clothing up to racing suits, helmets were mandatory anyway.

I did car wars from 2012-2016, i drove the hayday landcruiser that was painted like a cow. And yeah, adrenaline 😂 ive been wrecked fuckin hard out there a few times and done the same to other people, you get tunnel vision and just go nuts lol. Other times its an accident, once i hit someone head on doing like 50 mph into turn 2 because they got spun out infront of me and i didnt have time to react. Crazy shit. i miss it, so i come back to these videos every now and then. It honestly really bums me out that beechridge is gone...

Owner sold because the real estate market was a seller's market. Owner refused to sell to anybody who intended to keep it as a race track so the track would die with his name and legacy.

This stuff made ownership a lot of money but did terrible harm to the track surface. In the end, it was a seller's market and the land was worth more than the track and the owner bailed with a golden parachute and 72 years of history is just that..........history. This seems like a sick joke to me.

I wonder how much track insurance was with events like this going on. Probably the reason why there aren't more of these types of races around.
