Y Garn Summit Camp GONE WRONG

I bagged some Wainwrights in the Lakes last year in similar weather, just add horizontal rain. Was sketchy, wet, miserable, zero views to take pictures of. Absolutely loved it! Didn't have the option to turn as was too invested by the time it turned and weather not nearly as forecast. As they say though, no such thing as bad weather, just bad equipment. Was a life saver that I packed my storm pegs.

Trekking poles are super useful for preventing slips and falls coming downhill. Since I started using them I wouldn’t want to go mountain hiking without them
