I honestly just discovered Y kant Tori read and I’m complete hooked. I’m a huge fan of Tori, both the Tori that we know but also the 80s synthpop star that never was. These Melodies are simply beautiful and catchy af and man you did an AWESOME JOB on the video!!

after seeing the silly 80s fluff of the Big Picture, and all Tori Amos friends telling to avoid this album, I was quick to write this off. Funny enough it was a link from the Mr Mister guitarist Farris that brought me to this gem. I am really impressed with the video you made, and is up to the artistry of the original song, possibly the best fan made video I've ever seen. Well done!

Well, even if Tori had success with it and continued down this path a bit longer, she still would've likely evolved. Look at Alanis Morissette. She was once a pop-princess for years in Canada with two successful albums before she did her more "serious" work.

I disagree. A lot of music of that time had a somewhat glossy touch, but I think it works in many cases. Not everything has to sound raw, or like it's a live recording.

The production fits perfect in the time when the album was recorded. It is very good. So maybe buy a new pair of ears 😉. The music is awesome but completely to what she recorded later..

Completely disagree, this is one of the best 80s sounding synthpop tracks I’ve heard. This was the sound imprint at the time man.
