I think they have more demands that’s why they don’t want to provide a courtesy service. But it is ridiculous to ask potential buyers to provide bank statements due to privacy. Even buyer can provide but does not matter it’s guaranteed to buy. You are honest and true fully disclosed an honest opinions, you are right and I totally agree. Thanks

Your assertion all English state schools select their pupils by means of catchment area is incorrect. Grammar School is also a form of state school in England but they select their pupil by way of examination known as 11 plus, only dose pupil who pass the exam can gets in. Grammar School is undoubtedly the best school in England.

If the house is renting out, agent need to arrange with the tenants for inspection appointment first. Some tenants don't cooperated sometimes. So don't expect the same way it works in hong Kong.
For those of you who want to buy a property in UK, especially big city like London, please be aware of some areas in London as crime is out of control. Do not use a middle man to assist you to buy property as it will cost you more. Go straight to the estate agent or search on the internet for your property first. There are a couple of websites you can search, www.primelocation.co.uk or www.findaproperty.co.uk It is better to live just outside London, the areas like Surrey (about 1/2 hour commute by train into central London) or Kent. Berkshire is also very good with good schools, towns like beacons fields and Gerards cross are strongly recommended. 对不起, 中文不是很好所以只能写英文。

睇樓程序同三藩市好相似,非誠勿擾。不過我哋醒水既經紀就行動快速D。我遇過好多混吉既外國人買家。來就旋風式來,來到就天腳底都想去睇下,招待三幾日,密集式去睇曬成區(我指鄰近幾個郡、十幾個城市都一一帶佢睇)結果就一個屈尾十走咗去第二個城市(如南加、西雅圖)買咗。所以本地經紀係好驚外國人來睇屋,特別冇親人住本地既外國買家。而且很多人驚死我哋呃佢,我問佢睇法意見,有D人又好似方死講太多我知道太多佢既意見。我講我睇法,我問佢點睇,佢又問返我覺得點,唔知佢想點,遊花園。90%浪費時間。呢個係以一個本地經紀既角度來分享睇法。Hope you don’t take it personal.

New building may use cheap materials, the price are cheaper in Manchester but ...I can't expose too much but I think it's not a good ideas to live in Manchester because unemployed rate is rising then safety issue.. Reading is a good location. Seaside area like Brighton, Hove,..etc. are better place, warmer than the North Part of UK. Rent and 2nd hand house price also not too expensive.

Hi, I am from UK here, yes, be careful... all agents are same, and not all can be trusted. Some are quite dogdy and lazy actually , especially if you find them on search engines (including rightmove) . YOu are right, some are agents of agents, but please try to stick with direct estate agents. "Sourcing agents" are dodgy, please do not get tricked, especially they know HK people have money. Also remember, buyers should not be expected to pay any fees to agents here in the UK. PS, for Tesla :) - it is becoming a bubble i think :) at 1500 though I am still tempted to get back / re enter

香港精神就係腳踏實地去賺錢,當年大學畢業就已經流行所謂嘅四仔主義,有錢唔係萬能但係有錢有自由✌️搵錢基本上係亞洲國家機會多好多,廿幾年前上大陸做嘢公司人工會加20%,因為當時大陸環境相對香港落後,公司會比多啲per diem 而家已經冇呢支歌仔唱,去啲先進成熟國家例如英國搵錢就梗係難好多😭相信coco 哥炒股應該會明白因為efficient market係好難搵到大錢
Your experience is very similar to the US. You need to work with a real estate agent. Because all serious buyers do it this way. It’s just how it works in different city. When calling someone. Always leave message. Usually people don’t pick up unless they recognized the number.
