Oh yeah，2 fridge is a very good idea. We had 2 when we were in HK, too. 1 for raw food and the other for that ready to eat. They work very well together.

你好, 非常欣賞閣下為咁多遠道而來, 為理想的香港人提供專業紅磚屋檢測意見同心得。 本人想簡單了解如下: 如果現有單位 (正準備購買之二手舊屋) G/F, 本身冇客廁, 而1/F 本身有個family bath (正正位於G/F 廚房, 或者係大門入口樓上位置, 一定係G/F 其中一個角落), 現正想收左屋後, 搵 builder 晌梯底加建客廁的話, 依絛座廁屎渠一定要晌地下 concrete flooring之下舖設, 接通現有之 1/F family bath 座廁屎渠 down pipe 之後, 才駁去自己屋界範圍內的 sewage manhole, 咁樣會否需要, 先破壞現有原好無缺的 laminate timber flooring, 甚至乎要 core 穿左現有之 G/F egde beam 才可以做到, 而同時會否破壞間屋地基 (通常大概 2-3呎深之下有層好堅穩石屎 layer (raft foundation course for the brickwork house), 麻煩閣下提供有關情況, 會否破壞本屋地基, 而引致沉降, 同時費用大概多少 (方便的話)。 正正就係買二手舊屋成本預計。 留言太長, 希望能明燈揩引, 非常感激。

There are pros and cons to old and new. Even with a renovation like this, the old house will still have issues that can't fully be resolved. It's worth saying that both will have issues. In general, new builds will have less headaches.

呢類舊式BOILER系統好容易有小毛病，既然大執，比我一定比多3-4千鎊換Combi boiler，剷走個water tank，咁起碼十年八年唔駛煩，而且省下的煤氣費，可能都差不多條數。
