Hong Kong may be just a little better than TW but I had seen many public notices and advertising written in "funny" English. Sure, a lot of people don't care about grammar and smooth writing as long as they can get away with incorrect translation, that's ok. Personally, I have been studying English for over 35 years because I found it very different and intriguing. The more I studied, the more I wanted to improve; so I focused on common errors and direct sentence translation. The secret is not how much one studies and learns, it is how much of what you learned is put to use on daily basis. The problem I see with a lot of Chinese learners is that they use the ear-to-mouth direct translation method to process the information ,which is natural for any learner at the beginning. To improve, they must wean this practice and begin to explore the inner ability to think and respond. It is very possible but will take unrelenting perseverance and hard work.
我記得台灣有一件hoodie 改 THE NORTH FACE 變成了cum on my face. 有些女的都有買 她們應該也不知道是什麼吧?

Michael Ma, I had always suspected your manhood for years. Now your hair and your nails have validated my suspicion. You haven't changed, still teasing the people who have no formal English background. Why don't you do something more advanced and beneficial to those who want to improve their writing skills; like using correct tenses, grammar and subjunctive condition.
