Dear 12th guys, i agree with 60% eligibility, rest discussed here all leading to negativity. Even you could land a job if you score less than 60%. I did engineering, developed skills required during my engineering, got placed in Wipro.its all about grit to win attitude.If you really wanna win, just go for it. Sorry to defer. Companies now a days look at 10th and 12th percentage as a means of filtering out candidates. (Ie) If the number of applicants are way above the number of vacancies. Skill level is what matters going forward.

Python is good for starters as it is easy to understand and implement. From there, you can start learning HTML or C++. Also depends on what category of coding you want to get into. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python for Web Development. C++, Rust, Java etc for very high end complex things.

Generally top companies are not reaching colleges. Only few service sector companies visiting. TCS is exceptional, they generally quote 3.5L only. English and engineering skill is very important to get into good companies.
