Yes. I have also witnessed lot of AV Ramanan's musiano programs in 70s and 80s. She used to sing Susheela's songs effortlessly. Wonderful singer and perfect couple. May her soul rest at the feet of the Almighty. God give Ramaban and his son the required strength to withstand Uma's absence. 😢😢

This lady is like that student filling a question paper with very little that is known to him/her. Is there any family she does not know about?! Vijay Antony's daughter, Bhavadharini, now Uma Ramanan! Whatever she mentioned is nothing new. Uma Ramanan has sung ~75 songs (almost all of them are GEMS) for Ilayaraja. She was gifted with unique vocals. Her stint as a judge in reality shows is also commendable. Uma Ramanan will continue to live through her renditions.

I was searching for ur comment and finally got it. I came to know about Uma mam through Jaya TV Ragamalika 15 yrs back. She was very neutral in judging singers in reality show. Current judges of super singer show (Vijay TV) should watch those videos.

@@vigneshwarr874 Yes, Jaya TV judging standards were quite good and adequate. Nowadays, even the likes of Chitra and Mano have gag orders on what they should or should not say. As a result, their feedback is always "semma / vera level / mass" etc.! The purpose has become "PURE" entertainment, and MONEY for the channels / judges, only.

He told me that when Kannadasan was alive, she had misused his name and Kannadasan had clearely instructed his servants not to let her into his house. Can You ask her to show a photo of her with Kannadasan? i had interviewed Prakash Raj. He dosent even know who this lady is..but see her interview about him. Regarding Kutty Padmini, kindly see the you tube of one idhayakani vijayan, who has torn her apart regarding her personal views on MGR.
