There are so many useful takeaways from this interview: (1) Education alone is not enough to take public leadership positions; it should be supported by experience. Public leadership must not be a try and error activity. (2) Only Ethiopians can heal Ethiopia. (3) No Ethiopian should be killed without justice. (4) Stand for the justice of others, too. (5) Socialism is imbedded in Ethiopian culture; we need not import it. (6) Foreigners have played their own role in destabilizing Ethiopia. This has to do with our role in helping other African countries to free them selves from colonizers. (7) After the event, even the fool is wise. (8) people flow like a river following few leaders with out understanding where the leaders are leading them.

I don't know what to say about our past. Only God can help us from this kind of suffering. I'm just crying when I listen to this interview. We're now in the worst situation. People are killed brutally everywhere in Ethiopia. Let's all pray day and night for our people and country. The Almighty God protect our country and people all the time!!!
While I was a 12 grader I used to go to ato Akalework's home ( her uncle ) with my friend Meaza Tesfa . How an enjoyable home ; how humble ato Akalewolk was. He used to respect my friend & myself though we were teenagers .
My Dad was a prisoner of Mengistu regime, he was young and successful……… he was a treasure to the people of Eritrea who fought for his freedom of movement against the tyranny Colonel Mengistu Hailemariam. My uncle was killed in front of his beloved mother in 1965 and a year later her second son killed by Derg then she fainted and died a week after. So sad Eritreans were / are suffering until now thanks to the government of Ethiopia.
Mengistu was a monster who introduced barbaric mass killings in this country! He massacred Amharas under the cover of Ethiopianism! Aklilu H/Wold the timeless top diplomat ever in the history of Ethiopia!
I think all the leaders of Ethiopia were/ are suffering from inferiority complex syndrome because they didn’t know what to do.

General Aman Andom was killed just because he was an Eritrean. That’s why we better be good neighbors and stop fighting. Eritrea 🇪🇷 is independent country. Please Ethiopians LIB GZU. We Eritreans are tired of your nonsense propaganda, lies and your give and take propaganda must stop. The reason why we are where we are is because of your lies, hatred.
