I think so. Next I want to make a short video, introducing one Chinese character at a time. I hope I can have time and good software to make it. Thank you for your support.

I’ve spent about 100,000 hours studying English humor and Western culture. My native language is Chinese. I’m teaching Chinese language in jokes and pictures. It makes learning Chinese funny and much easier. Hope you can recommend it. Laughter can help us reduce tensions.

@@邹炭 -Animals painfully morphing into black ink out of their will, funny music makes light of the situation -A baby turning into a Chinese character, likely never be able to revert back to its original form, like a mystical ancient curse -Liminal/uncanny/faux-happy music from the late 80s/early 90s played over VHS with heavy wow and flutter -Ancient Chinese scripts look like alien writing to some people, especially when you show the morphing process animation like an alien transformation -Late 80s/early 90s music was infamous for being intentionally slightly off-key and may sound/feel sinister/creepy to some people

@@ricenoodles632legit thank you so much for the time and effort you took to write this down to me, I don't know if you are being sarcastic but anyway it's a fking good answer whether I'm reading it for fun or seriously.

@@ricenoodles632now I get where natural cult movie impression is from. But I think the off key music may have also be caused by the flutter of speed when playing tapes.
@ricenoodles63210 ай бұрын
@@dahoo-needledrop Wow and flutter is one aspect. In this case since it's likely sourced from a videotape, it could potentially suffer from some mild wow and flutter. It could also be the result of poor production due to using underserviced audio equipment that work with tape reels and etc.. Wow and flutter can fluctuate between correct and incorrect pitches, or it can fluctuate between incorrect pitches only, because the pitch is drastically off center that the wow and flutter wouldn't even gloss over the correct pitch. Faster speed/higher pitch is sometimes purposely applied on the final product of a physical music release in which the pitch doesn't sound natural and is played at an odd/unnatural key which results in an uncanny feeling for certain listeners. AFAIK this was fairly trendy practice back in the late 80s/early 90s. Popular with R&B, house/dance, etc.. I don't produce music but you can usually tell when a song is pitched and a lot of songs from that time period sounded like it's been pitched in some way. This trend seems to have declined after around 1996, I wanna say.
