It's been almost been 4 years and I never replied, but I did like. Just dropping by to say hi. I always love when there's songs that are not made specifically for Sonic, but end up being associated with Sonic. If things are still doing well with you, you should check out Raindrops by Greening. A song with a similar story to this song, LIFE.

It's a great song. It made me import the CD from Japan to listen to the rest of the tracks. As for usage, I honestly have no idea 😅 I'd assume it's copyrighted.

Wish my sis shared that sentiment too. She ultimately chose death, and despite my efforts I couldn't convince her to stay. Don't pile onto despair in the struggle or you won't give yourself a chance to back out, she sure didn't. Life doesn't always work itself out, and it sure didn't with me, but I'd like to see it through anyway. Keep on going out of spite to the tragedies I've been needlessly subjected to.

​ @Ninjacat25 I've been okay for the most part, trying to reduce other issues like found lacking day planning and reducing hindering entertainment addictions. I'm still more than just a bit bothered by futile counterfactual hypothetical scenarios, like what if I was just a little less naive back then and did so and so I could have saved her when I still had the chance. The fact is I wasn't and didn't, plus the past is way outside my area of influence unlike the here and now. I've been moving on for a while now, but that haunting train of thought keeps rerunning now and then - I just can't seem to shake it. Maybe it's a sign I haven't quite overcome misplaced self-blame or accepted it was really out of my hands. Whatever it is, I'd like to find and break the link so I don't keep pointlessly hurting myself like this.

It's a shame that this game never came out. So much potential and heart was put into this game. But some wrong steps ultimately destroyed it. I'm so glad that the community found some information on this. I really hope this gets a comeback by Sega. If not, the fans.

surprisingly yes, a total accident. autoplayed after some other video i was watching, and I recognized the song immediately. still no idea what the song actually is, but maybe the uploader will know. or maybe they just used the song straight out of the sonic xtreme video, that's a possibility too.

come to think of it, the uploader most likely did NOT use this version, as the song does not fade in on his version - I'm assuming the uploader of the sonic xtreme video made the song fade in (seen on this video too) he has the original song.
